What Do You Think About the Devil?

While atheism is by no means a relic of the past, there has been a growing number of people who have come to the conclusion that there must be something else beyond the natural world that we can see, observe, measure and test but for various reasons are still opposed to falling in line with any one religious viewpoint or dogmatic system. Still deeper into this group, there is an increasing subset who are genuinely drawn to that which is dark, sinister, malicious or even rebellious by nature. It is this group who have brought the philosophical concept, the supernatural entity and, at times, even the personal being known as Satan or the devil to the mainstream. So, what does this mean for us? What is our role in a culture which celebrates the embodiment of evil? What is our relationship to this figure known as Satan?
