A video published by Israel's military claims to show a series of raids conducted in Gaza. Israel said troops were hunting senior Hamas militants that they believe are hiding in Khan Yunis.

The United Nations has warned that hundreds of thousands of people are on the brink of starvation in Gaza. Although the US backs Israel in its war on Hamas, it has been unable to persuade it to allow much more aid into the territory and has resorted to airdropping meals.
