You can sundry the maple sirup and granulate it from there if you don't have or want a mixer.
If you don't like the strong taste of mapple sugar, you can use birch sap instead and mape sugar from that, it's a much lower yield though. Maple is a 1 to 4 sugar to sirup ratio, Birch is a 1 to 10
