In this video we went over the basic components to a modern scientific paper. The general structure being the IMRaD format. We begin with the abstract, moving into the introduction, methods, results and discussion. Lastly, we touch on referencing and some common problems and errors that occur when citing other papers.

Periodically, I point out things to look for and the best components to assess to evaluate papers properly. We will be covering this more in depth in the future, as well as going over some papers as examples.
