"There are roughly a trillion species of microorganisms on Earth"

What if microbial “species” aren’t real?

In this video, we dismantle one of the biggest myths in microbiology: The belief that microbes are fixed, isolated organisms with stable traits.

The difference between Microbiology and Virology is that microbes exist, and viruses don't.

Thus, we can know some things about microbes, but a lot of what we know based on unfalsifiable circular genomics, unreliable unspecific serology, and dead stained and dried microscopy. This is a recipe for bad science.
