End of the Makwa Moon 2024 (Nature Scrapbook)

Hello, fellow wildlings! As the Makwa Moon (or Moon of the Bears) winds down this year, many mother bears have likely given birth. Wolves, crows and other animals have courted their lifelong mates. And, oddly, temperatures are breaking record highs while bare ground is showing where there is usually four feet of snow. From celestial happenings to tracks in the woods, this scrapbook entry covers the last week or so of the waning of the Makwa Moon here in the Upper Peninsula.
