Childhood Memories

Sharon asked me to do a painting of her grandparents' barn, a place where she had many fond memories as a child. This is a really cool structure with so much character, and listening to her describe it as it was when she was a little girl allowed me see this magnificent barn through her eyes. It also let me try to bring it back to match her memory. There are other structures around it now, and the trees have certainly changed some, but I hope I honored a beloved part of her childhood.
