When Republicans say, "border security" Democrats hear "immigration reform."
Democrats are finally waking up to the fact that America has an illegal immigration crisis. The final straw will be when Democrat voters finally make the logical leap from migrant crisis to border crisis. Democrats in office have been framing the problem as one of housing and processing illegal immigrants that are already here, not in terms of keeping them from entering the country in the first place. Only then will they support genuine border security like that covered in HR2, which has already passed the House.
