Jaguar Cub Waves Its Paw The jaguar (Panthera onca) is a large cat species and the only living member of the genus Panthera native to the Americas. It lives a mostly solitary life and occupies home ranges, which it defends from individuals of the same sex. Bullfrog chillin’ on the table The American bullfrog (Lithobates catesbeianus), often simply known as the bullfrog in Canada and the United States, is a large true frog native to eastern North America.
