Boingsetta is a member of the Winter-Mint family.
Boingsetta costs 150 Sun. (-25 Sun at levels 3 and 7.)
Boingsetta deals 1,000 to grid objects like tombstones and critters when planted. (+1,000 on level 2, +2,000 on even levels.)
Boingsetta knocks back all zombies 1.2 tiles when planted. (+6.67% per level. An additional +10% on level 10.)
Boingsetta chills all zombies for 5 seconds when planted. (+1 second on levels 2, 3, 5, 7, 9 and 10.)
After initial planting, Boingsetta will repeat these effects but only in the lane it is on, and after 25 seconds. (-1 second on levels 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 10.)

Commentary:
Boingsetta is a needed plant on certain levels. This is especially true on levels with high health tombstones where it would be difficult to eliminate these zombie shields.

Bottom Line:
As good as Boingsetta is against tombstones and the like, this is still a situational plant at best. It will perform admirably on levels where one needs to survive a time limit or needs more time for other plants to damage zombies.

Nonetheless, this is a worthy plant to obtain and upgrade.

We do not get a preview of Penny's Pursuit before it is released. So what you see is what players get.

We also try to vary the strategies from week to week and showcasing different plants and strategies and ideas. Using the same strategy week after week would be boring to see.
