In this interview, Sheryl McCollum and Jared discuss the role of a Crime Scene Investigator Crime Scene Investigators (CSI) are often overlooked for their importance and the expertise they bring to the table. In many cases, they are the key to solving a case! How a CSI collects the evidence, maintains an uncontaminated crime scene, notices a new clue while sifting through evidence and many other services they provide to the investigation and the family are critical in the crime-solving process.

Sheryl McCollum is a prime example of all the traits you want in a CSI. She's tough, persistent, and has the expertise to get the job done right. But most importantly she cares, deeply cares, about the victim receiving justice and the family getting closure.

Sheryl is also a recent winner of an Emmy Award for her work with CSI Atlanta and is the Director of the Cold Case Investigative Research Institute.
