2023: The Year The Landscape of Cinema Changed
Where have all the big spectacle event movies with substance gone? With Oppenheimer becoming so successful and even joining the billion dollar club, it gives me hope for Hollywood's future. Finally, it seems that audiences are waking up and not accepting empty and bloated blockbusters, but rather demanding more from these widely distributed studio tentpoles. Comic book films, popular IPs and proven franchises took a backseat at the box office this past year and I think this could lead to some positive change for cinema...
