PENDER BAY | QUONDONG | SECRET ROCK POOLS, EPIC FREE CAMPS | SNAGGING THE BEST CAMPING SPOT EVER!

Hidden rock pools, epic off grid camping, tight tracks and a full campground where we score the last epic spot! Part 2 of our Dampier Peninsula adventure is underway! We show you around Pender Bay where we spend 7 magical days and uncover one of the best rock pools we have ever seen!! So many people miss this one, walking right past as it's pretty hard to find requiring a little hike around the beach at low tide and some idea of where to look as it's super hidden! We head south on the Dampier Peninsular aiming for James Price Point but end up at Quondong where we negotiate extremely tight and scratchy tracks, some pretty impressive u-turns with the Holliers ( @Campedia ) right behind us only to discover the whole campground is full as it's Friday and super close to Broome. But - we snag the best site in the whole area! Watch to find out how that eventuated ☺️ Quondong is awesome for surfing, rock pools on the beach, swimming and epic sunsets! 🐳 🔥Whales, bush fires and the most incredible landscape ever 😍 Welcome to the Dampier Peninsula! Join us as we leave Broome and head north. Our destination? Pender Bay Escape, a gorgeous camp that's notoriously hard to secure a spot in. The website always claims it's booked out, but thankfully we managed to secure seven nights. A bush fire burns, covering the area in a smoky haze which looks pretty amazing at sunset and even more incredible from our campsite as we watch it burn into the night from our campsite. The Hollier family ( @Campedia ), who join us a few days later, have a wild experience driving through the fire that had crossed our path. 'It almost melted my arm off' (quote from Donna 😅) We takes some time to explore Middle Lagoon where we catch up with some fellow travelers and go for a (pretty funny) swim, and Smithy's, two fantastic campgrounds not far from Pender Bay. We set up camp for 4 incredible nights at North Lefroy. This is a great base as it's in between South Lefroy and Winderabandi. We spend one day at South Lefroy where we try the drift snorkeling everyone raves about! We get lost in the dunes as we try to find the abandoned whaling station where we spend over an hour exploring. Rusty remnants are scattered all over the dunes and out to sea! We end up at Winderabandi where we squeeze down the tight, boggy track and then soak in the sheer beauty of the crystal clear, turquoise waters. This place is pure paradise! In this video, we'll dive into: 🏜️ Waroora Station: This is a special campground is located 1 hour south of Coral Bay on a working cattle station within the Ningaloo Marine Park. Here you can connect deeply with your surroundings in a special and genuine way. They're dedicated to sustainability and eco-friendly accommodation and have plenty of options for those who don't have their own set up. The campground is just 1.5km from the beach (accessible by 4WD) and is the perfect place to base yourself while you explore the surrounding areas. 🌊 Ninagaloo Coastline: Join us as we explore the pristine coastline of Ninagaloo, where turquoise waters meet endless white sandy beaches. We'll show you the best spots for swimming, snorkeling, and taking in the breathtaking views. What a mission this adventure was!! We hit Steep Point in Useless Loop, Shark Bay, Western Australia! We show you how we navigate the sandy, corrugated road, sharing our insights on dropping tire pressures as the road went from good to terrible 🤪 The scenery out here is next level with huge, white sand dunes, and the brilliant turquoise waters that kept appearing in between the dunes. We help out a group of people who find themselves bogged with boats and trailers on the long sandy hill - MaxTrax to the rescue again! Camping at Shelter Bay was amazing!! It's a stunning spot with views across to Dirk Hartog Island. We did the short drive to Steep Point at sunset and got to see the brand new sign! And then came the moment of truth – a challenging exit at 4am - night time sand dune driving anyone? Lucky we have covered the truck with Lazerlamps lights! Lucky we chose the beach road home! We came across a very bogged Navara buried and covered in bushes and helped them out of their hole in the sand. This was an action packed end to an action packed day! We explored the spectacular Cape Le Grand National Park and had lunch on the number one beach in the world, Lucky Bay - where heaps of people were bogged! We also show you the incredible Wharton Beach, a low cost camp, - Condingup Sports Oval, close by and the overflow camping in Esperance. If you're after a quiet campground in Esperance, don't stay there! We had kids & cars everywhere during Little Athletics and the same again plus shuffling caravans and adults during the Poultry Auction the next morning! I got a DJI Mavi 3 😁 It's a another tight squeeze into Burners Beach Campground where we stay for one night. Carafan dust reduction, jetty jumping, fitness classes at Point Turton and a 3 hour drive to the tiny town of Melrose, renowned for its epic MTB trails, at the base of The Flinders Ranges. Yorke Peninsula Hits Hard! The wild weather sparks a mass exodus from Wauraltee Beach as we all seek shelter. We drive a few kms down the road to Port Victoria and 'hide' in the sports oval camp ground before getting bored and moving across to Warooka where we ride out the bad weather. Chris & Greg drive to Adelaide and come back with a brand new Hobie kayak for Donna. They also fix our power cable issue with Starlink - Greg is a clever little cookie! We then finally make it to Burners Beach, an epic bush camp on the Yorke Peninsula not far from Point Turton. We are traveling with our good friends the Holliers from @Campedia . Get ready for an epic adventure as we take you to Wooroora Station and explore the stunning Ninagaloo Coastline! In this video, we'll dive into:
🏜️ Waroora Station: This is a special campground is located 1 hour south of Coral Bay on a working cattle station within the Ningaloo Marine Park. Here you can connect deeply with your surroundings in a special and genuine way. They're dedicated to sustainability and eco-friendly accommodation and have plenty of options for those who don't have their own set up. The campground is just 1.5km from the beach (accessible by 4WD) and is the perfect place to base yourself while you explore the surrounding areas.

🌊 Ninagaloo Coastline: Join us as we explore the pristine coastline of Ninagaloo, where turquoise waters meet endless white sandy beaches. We'll show you the best spots for swimming, snorkeling, and taking in the breathtaking views. Not to mention the incredible Manta Rays we spotted so close to the shore that Chris jumped in to join the fun!

🏝️14 Mile: We spend a few incredible days at 14 Mile where we are able to head off and explore the coastline, the dunes and Coral Bay.

🖐️ 5 Fingers: We get lost in the dunes and end up at one of the top snorkeling locations in the area, 5 Fingers!
