Death and Rebirth

There is no domesticating nature, there is making space for life

Living close to nature in the jungles I’m intimately familiar with the #abundance of #life growing here, and that there is no way to contain and sustain all of it.

Whatever is strongest, most clever, or most abundant, will live.

When caretakers of a farm tend to their crop, they manage the overgrowth by cutting down anything that’s not part of the harvest or ecosystem, and lets them decompose right there.

This clears the way for the crops to grow, protects the roots from heat, keeps in moisture, nourishes the soil and more as the life force transfers.

No one cries over cutting down the overgrowth because the food gets to grow!

We see this brutality in how animals are birthed. If they are not well, the mother rejects them so she may care for the ones that will live.

I held a kitten birthed with its organs outside its body and watched as the mother ate the organs and then rejected the kitten.

She understands the assignment: life must go on. Quite literally, it must go on and by whatever means it will.

Life is brimming full with opportunities and there is no sense coddling what’s dying as if that’s going to change the situation.

Humanity coddles death… unwilling to accept the brutality that must be gone through time and again as we evolve into our greatest selves.

We say it’s the honorable thing to coddle death, while the new life emerging is robbed of the life force it needs to thrive!

Many things in you and your life will die: relationships, dreams, loved ones, paradigms… and it’s all because there’s a garden growing inside of you and only the best of the best gets to thrive!

Eat the death and live, because death is as natural as birth: two sides of the same coin of Life.

Life will go on …. will you dance with Life, or resist the natural process of creating space for your flourishing garden?
