Don’t be put off with National VA phone lines.
Call the closest VA Hospital. Most if not all have an active Dental Clinic.

To schedule call the main hospital 🏥 and ask to be transferred to the Dental Clinic - and make your appointment. You are already prequalified if you are 100% Service Connected Disabled.

Worst case scenario would be to go in early M-F in the hopes of being seen as a walk in.
( if you have to exaggerate your pain level ~ that’s the time to do it ) - Tom

If you have to go back make sure you go to it or call 24 hours ahead of time to reschedule. Missing appointments is not favorable for you.
If other people in your life are badgering you to do something else - tell them to fuck off and get another sure fire ride to get there.

Also, in many many cases there will be a shuttle bus from a closer VA Clinic at scheduled times only. Make sure you call that clinic ahead of time about hours they head out AND HOURS they come back.

It’s important to come back home EVENTUALLY. After a couple of days you’ll probably need a shower 🚿 and fresh set of clothes before going on your next adventure.

I love my fellow veterans and DO NOT WANT ANY OF YOU TO FALL THRU THE CRACKS.
