Before the trauma really kicked in and reminisce about a simpler time…

When walking to school with my friend Charlotte was possibly one of my simpler, yet happier memories.
Friends often have their ups and downs but like, 30 years is pretty good.

It was harder to make my school route work when she moved, but on mornings where I could make it in time to walk together definitely made it better.

Unfortunately there was a point where I was taking detours around my detour to avoid people who wanted to beat me up on the way to school.
That’s why it was difficult to make it in time…

While I was worried about many things, at least when you were with me I didn’t have to think about them too much.
