Once upon a time, there was an old hotel situated in the middle of a dense forest. The hotel had a dark history, as it was rumored to be haunted by the ghosts of the people who had died in there.
Many people had tried to stay at the hotel, but most of them fled in terror within hours of checking in.
One stormy night, a group of friends decided to stay at the hotel.
Despite the warnings from the locals, they were determined to spend the night and prove that the rumors of the hotel being haunted were just that - rumors.
As they entered the hotel, the group noticed that the receptionist was a strange old man with a blank stare. He gave them a key and asked them to sign a register.
But as they looked closer, they saw that the pages of the register were filled with names that had been scratched out, as if the guests had never existed.
Ignoring the strange feeling they had, the group headed to their rooms. Once they entered, they realized that the rooms were nothing like the pictures on the website.
The wallpaper was peeling, the curtains were ripped, and the bed looked like it had not been changed in months. But that wasn't the worst part.
As they were trying to settle in, they heard strange noises coming from the walls.
It sounded like someone was whispering their names, but when they tried to find the source of the sounds, they found nothing.
Suddenly, the lights flickered and went out, leaving them in complete darkness.
The friends huddled together, trying to stay calm. But then, they heard footsteps outside their door.
They assumed it was the receptionist checking on them, but when they opened the door, there was no one there.
As they looked around, they saw that the hotel was changing. The once-quiet corridors were now filled with ghostly apparitions, staring at them with empty eyes.
The walls were covered in blood, and the floors were slippery with slime. The air was filled with the smell of decay, and the friends realized that they were not alone in the hotel.
Suddenly, they heard a scream. One of their friends had vanished, and they could hear her screams echoing throughout the hotel.
They searched for her, but she was nowhere to be found.
As the night wore on, the friends realized that they were being hunted by the ghosts of the hotel.
They tried to escape, but the doors were locked, and the windows were barred. They were trapped.
In the end, only one of them survived to tell the tale. But the trauma of that night haunted him for the rest of his life.
He never forgot the screams, the whispers, and the ghostly apparitions that haunted the old hotel in the middle of the forest.
