Remember, he was arrested in the same month as the Prigozhin revolt as Putin moved to suppress internal right-wing dissent. Strelkov was sentenced in absentia by a Dutch court for the murder of nearly 200 MH17 airline passengers, when the Malaysian Airlines flight was shot down by a Russian BUK missile over Donbas region.
