Dirt Bike Steering Stabilizer Installation

I have a 2013 Suzuki RMZ 450 that I ride on the ice in winter, and wanted to install a steering stabilizer on it, there is no room to install an inline stabilizer without permanently removing body panels so I started looking at the Scotts stabilizer systems, they were around $600.00, but they didn’t even make a kit for a Suzuki. So I started searching farther, I seen that I could mount a stabilizer above the handlebars or below, if I mounted below I would need to raise the handlebars, then I would need a mount on the neck of the bike frame. I found a stabilizer on Amazon that looked exactly like the Scotts stabilizer only it was $140.00 compared to the Scotts stabilizer at $386.00. I then added it to my 2023 Christmas list, figuring if I couldn’t find the parts I could make them. My bike has a 71mm neck and Scotts used to sell them I found out they no longer do when I called them, so I gave up looking and decided to build it all myself from scratch. This video runs through the whole process, I also believe I figured out why Scotts no longer makes the neck clamp as the fuel tank bolt location is the perfect mounting area.
