Canada is a G7 superpower that has some of the highest standards of living on earth. However, a recent OECD survey projected that Canada would have the slowest GDP growth of all advanced nations. But why?

In this video I unpack why Canada's economic future looks bleak.

1) GDP Productivity: Canada's GDP productivity continues to decline and has fallen more than most advanced nations (excluding Japan and Italy)

2) Industrial Profile: Canada's economy is heavily reliant on natural resources, but the government is transitioning away without a back-up -- especially since tech is still a small segment of the economy.

3) Affordability: Housing is extremely unaffordable, primarily driven by lack of development.

4) US Competition: The US has proven itself to be a more attractive place for business and talent.
