How do we know the legacy media is controlled?

How do we know the legacy media is controlled?
On 9/11, almost every news station in NYC reported on secondary explosions and the possibility of bombs in the World Trade Center.
On 9/12, they all stopped mentioning it… even though no investigation had occurred.
