Footage shows little Asher playing with the ring box on the floor, apparently right after his mother’s boyfriend popped the question, when mom asks him if he knows the purpose of wearing an engagement ring!

To which the witty toddler says “It means you have to keep it on all night, even when you sleep”. This hilarious conversation goes on as the cheeky toddler discusses with his mom about the meaning of wearing a ring and about why it should be kept on at all times. Little Asher even makes a fine statement and concludes that his mommy should remove the ring when she goes into the pool.

Obviously, the toddler is merely confused by the process, and is left for words when his mom says that her engagement ring means that she is going to marry her new boyfriend, Ian.

After hearing the news, it looks like Asher isn't very happy with the idea of his mom getting married and refuses to give his blessing to their engagement. The toddler goes out of his way and competes with his mom’s boyfriend by saying that he wants to marry his mom instead!

Let’s hope that Ian got Asher’s blessing and the sweet toddler came to terms with the news and doesn’t ask his mom to remove the ring when she goes for a swim! Cuteness overload!
