The experienced nurse practitioner felt numbness in his arm, which spread to his face. And it got worse after his second shot. "I went from being a 100% healthy, fully functioning nurse to a complete downward spiral." Barcavage is one of thousands in the U.S. who have, or believe they have, suffered severe side effects from the COVID vaccines. "It's not a belief. It's a fact," he told NewsNation. Making matters worse, Barcavage says, is a culture of denial within the health care system about just how many people have suffered from life-altering vaccine side effects. "I thought that all my pro-vaccine colleagues … would be there to lift me up and help me. And in fact, they're the ones who turned around, dismissed, denied and censored and buried me." "I think the idea that we are not listening to people who are suffering from this vaccine is awful," said Dr. Ashish Jha, who was the White House COVID coordinator in 2022 and 2023. "We absolutely need to be listening to them." But he is also very clear about the benefits of the COVID vaccines: "These vaccines ended the pandemic. They saved millions of lives. Thousands of Americans were dying every day at the height of the pandemic. The vaccines totally turned it around." Jha, who is dean of the Brown University School of Public Health, says doctors need to take a "humble" approach to learning more about those rare but serious vaccine side effects. But he realizes that's a big ask for many of his colleagues. "There is a long tradition in medicine that when we as doctors don't understand something, we actually blame the patient. This has been a problem in medicine forever." Barcavage says he learned that first-hand when friends refused to believe his serious illness was related to the COVID vaccine. "They're afraid that, by showing my face, I'll drive vaccine hesitancy. What I have come to realize is that the censorship and the hiding of it is actually fueling vaccine hesitancy." The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says more than 270 million Americans, or 81% of the population, have been vaccinated. Of those, less than 2% reported severe or life-threatening issues. Every vaccine produces side effects. The CDC has reported cases of anaphylaxis, a severe allergic reaction, in just over 11 cases for every one million doses of the Pfizer vaccine, and two and a half cases per million doses of the Moderna vaccine. Other serious illnesses linked to vaccines in very rare instances include Guillain-Barré Syndrome (muscle weakness and paralysis), myocarditis and pericarditis (heart muscle inflammation), and thrombosis with thrombocytopenia syndrome (blood clots in large blood vessels). Many have applied for federal help, to little avail. The Health Resources and Services Administration is the agency charged with compensating people with injuries directly linked to "a covered countermeasure" such as a vaccine. The HRSA says, as of April 1, it received 13,116 COVID-related claims. So far, it's reviewed more than 10,000 of those claims and found just 47 eligible for compensation, which averages about $3,600. The rest were denied. Mr. Cuomo made the revelation during his NewsNation program when he was interviewing a nurse practitioner, Shaun Barcavage, a nurse practitioner who said he suffered vaccine injuries and has received little help or recognition. "We know that vaccines can have unintended consequences, AKA side effects, but nobody's really talking about it because they're too afraid of blame, and they just want it to go away," Mr. Cuomo said. "But the problem is people like Shaun -- and me -- and millions of others who still have weird stuff with their bloodwork and their lives and their feelings -- you know, physically -- are not going away," he added. Mr. Cuomo, 53, did not go into the details about his symptoms or the brand of COVID-19 vaccine he received. But during the interview, Mr. Cuomo offered to share his doctor's information with Mr. Barcavage. "I'm sick myself, but I'm working with people who are working with this," Mr. Cuomo said. The Epoch Times contacted Mr. Cuomo for comment Sunday. Mr. Barcavage told the program that he has received little support from federal health agencies such as the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), National Institutes of Health (NIH), and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). "I thought there would be people ready to help me after my injury," he said in the NewsNation segment with Mr. Cuomo, which aired last week. "I reached out to political representatives, the NIH, the CDC, the FDA, but I received no answers. No one wanted to touch it." Other Famous Claims Other than Mr. Cuomo, relatively few celebrities have spoken about vaccine-related injuries they may have suffered. However, one of the world's richest people, Elon Musk, said that he was almost hospitalized after taking the shot. Mr. Musk revealed last year he got COVID-19 and experienced "mild cold symptoms," but took multiple vaccine doses in order travel. However, he revealed that the "third shot almost sent me to hospital," according to a social media post. "How many other people out there have symptoms that are actually from the vaccine or COVID treatment, rather than COVID itself?" he asked. "It's not like I don't believe in vaccines -- I do. However, the cure cannot be potentially worse than the disease," he said. "Public debate over efficacy should not be shut down," Mr. Musk continued. Around the same time, former Fox News host and current podcaster Megyn Kelly said that she, too, suffered vaccine-related health issues and stated she wishes she never took the jab. "I regret getting the vaccine, even though I'm a 52-year-old woman, because I don't think I needed it," Ms. Kelly said on a Sept. 6 episode of her podcast. "I think I would have been fine. I had got COVID many times, and it was well past when the vaccine was doing what it was supposed to be doing," she added. "For the first time, I tested positive for an autoimmune issue at my annual physical. And I went to the best rheumatologist in New York, and I asked her, do you think this could have to do with the fact that I got the ... booster and then got COVID within three weeks? And she said yes. Yes. I wasn't the only one she'd seen that with," Ms. Kelly continued. On social media, Ms. Kelly had written that she received the Johnson & Johnson shot. It's not clear what vaccine Mr. Musk had taken. There's a growing body of data suggesting that COVID-19 vaccine side effects are more serious than previously claimed. There have been papers linking spike-protein-based COVID-19 vaccines to skin problems, a dull ringing in the ears known as tinnitus, visual impairments, blood clotting, and even death. The CDC still recommends that people of all ages receive a COVID-19 vaccine, saying that the potential side effects do not outweigh COVID-19. While MSM stories abounded on the pandemic causing overflowing big-city hospitals, Hoffe recognized the disconnect between the reality in his small town. He did not see the pandemic materializing with his own eyes. The town of Lytton seemed relatively untouched by anything more serious than a mild flu. Following the roll-out of the vaccine, Dr. Hoffe noticed a more extreme disconnect. Patients were showing up sick after vaccination. On one occasion he informed a vaccine-injured patient she would not require additional injections due to having sufficient immunity from previous virus recovery. A nurse reported him and despite 30 years of exemplary service without a single patient complaint, he was summarily fired from his position at the emergency department. However, despite his income dropping by half without the emergency room, Dr. Hoffe persisted in keeping his patients’ safety first, even to his detriment. His first patient death from the pandemic came after vaccination, not from the virus. Hoffe noticed mounting deaths, micro-clotting, and serious neurological events after the 2021 rollout, and this prompted him to write an email of concern asking his colleagues what they had seen. Following this private email, he received a notice from the licensing authorities threatening him with disciplinary action should he cause any vaccine hesitancy through his communications. Hoffe immediately recognized something seriously was amiss. Never in his experience had doctors been so threatened for simply asking questions. Scientific inquiry should not be punishable -- and he would not be silenced -- especially not when patients’ lives were on the line. The personal cost to him did not matter. Although Dr. Hoffe found himself isolated in Lytton, a village of a mere 250 residents, he decided to conduct his own pilot study. He theorized that levels of D-Dimer would reflect micro-clot formation, and thus he measured these levels in his patients both before and after vaccination. To his horror, 5 of 8 patients turned positive for dangerous micro-clotting following the shots. Based on this safety signal, he informed his colleagues and warned that the vaccines seemed to be causing more harm than good. Dr. Charles Hoffe, despite his tiny practice in this tiny British Columbia town, ironically had made a national name for himself. And bigger things were about to happen. His D-Dimer study began in early 2021, around April, and by June of 2021, his town of Lytton was extinguished in a massive wildfire that seemed to selectively torch the enclave while mysteriously sparing the surrounding wilderness. Hoffe recalls the day of the inferno. He grabbed his laptop, and D-Dimer records, and fled his burning office. He drove the four hours to his family home, only to be greeted with the news that his wife was strategically planning a divorce. He was served with papers ousting him from his residence. Faced with banishment from his marriage, his profession, and his home, he sought refuge in a small vacation cottage located some six hours’ drive away. He made himself available to his patients via cell phone. But the licensing authorities quickly accused him of abandonment. Yet nothing could have been further from the truth. Like a good steward, Hoff watched over his flock with the utmost care. Dr. Hoffe courageously stayed the course, keeping his patients first while brushing off the slings and arrows of the attack. The little income he earned following the loss of the emergency room position was about to be whittled down further as the Canadian government removed him from a previously favored physician payment list. Meanwhile, the charred remains of the town of Lytton had been cordoned off by the authorities who blocked access -- Maui style -- to its displaced residents for some two years. Hoffe’s local Lytton home, in a positive twist of fate, was located upwind from the disaster, and he was able to move back in and treat the locals once again. As if the situation could not grow worse, the Canadian Medical Authorities brought charges of misinformation spreading against Dr. Hoffe and sought to revoke his license to practice medicine. Hoff hired a caring Christian attorney who vowed to fight this. For his defense, he recruited eight world-class expert witnesses, including Dr. Pierre Kory, Dr. Peter McCullough, Dr. Jessica Rose, and Dr. James Thorpe. They provided some 970 pages of compelling testimony, all pro-bono in light of Hoffe’s extreme financial circumstances. Despite all this, the court used the tool of Judicial Notice to derail his defense. This meant that none of this expert witness evidence was admissible because as a matter of law the vaccines were by definition considered safe and effective - and this issue could not be legally contested. To add further insult, the medical authorities sought to charge Dr. Hoffe with the costs of their investigation on top of revoking his license. These costs could easily exceed one or two hundred thousand dollars. In other words, the Canadian Medical Authorities are planning a one-two punch designed to bankrupt and silence Dr. Hoffe once and for all. Which brings me to my request. I've been a qualified doctor since 2001. I have held various roles both in academic health policy. In England, in the United Kingdom, and of the various roles, I won't bore you with all the details. I think three of the most relevant and prominent are the fact that I was an ambassador for the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges for six years, which represented every doctor in the UK. I served a full term of six years as a trustee of the King's fund. I was the youngest member to be appointed to this body which advises government on health policy. I was a founding member of Action on Sugar and a first science director. And through that role I'm considered the lead campaigner on bringing about a sugary drinks tax in the UK. And also, finally I served for five years as visiting professor of evidence based medicine at the Bahiana School of Medicine in Salvador, Brazil. In early 2020, at the beginning of the pandemic I was most vocal doctor on the mainstream, making the link very early on between COVID and those who are vulnerable to suffering serious complications from COVID In fact, in March 2020, I was asked to go on Sky News to explain my initial research findings of the link between especially obesity and COVID, but also to give people an opportunity and to suggest to the government this was a great time for them to implement public health policy to help people enhance or optimise their immune system, which could happen within just a few weeks of dietary changes and optimising vitamin D. This was later also backed up by medical journal publications a few months later. And I was first to mention on the back of an article I published in the Daily Telegraph newspaper, which became a front page commentary and was picked up by BBC News and Good Morning Britain, where I had said that it's likely our prime minister, Boris Johnson, was hospitalised because of his weight. As a result of that, the then secretary for health, Matt Hancock, and this was publicised in the news, had asked me to advise him on the link between COVID and obesity. ...before I explain my journey and in many ways U-turn on my understanding in terms of the benefits and harms of the COVID vaccine, my experience in this area over the last couple of years has made me realise more than ever that even for that the greatest barrier to the truth are not factual or intellectual barriers, but psychological. I think all of us as human beings are vulnerable to these psychological barriers and we should have compassion for ourselves. And I will just very briefly summarise those three psychological barriers before I get into my detailed account of what I was involved in in regards to the COVID vaccine. The first psychological barrier is one of fear. And many of us understandably, and I still remember from early on in the pandemic, we were all scared. We did not know what we were dealing with. The issue with fear is that when people and populations are in a state of fear, we are less likely to engage in critical thinking and we are more likely to be compliant. Although COVID was particularly devastating for vulnerable groups in the elderly and I even have managed and still manage people with long COVID, the fear was grossly exaggerated. And one of the examples of that is that when we had good information on the mortality rate of COVID in the United States, one survey in 2020 revealed that 50% of Americans believed that if they caught COVID, the risk of 19 hospitalisation was 50% one and two, when the actual figure, certainly an average for people in middle age, was less than 1%. The second barrier to the truth, which I think is very relevant to the situation we find ourselves in now, is one called willful blindness. This is when human beings, all of us, are vulnerable to this, turn a blind eye to the truth in order to feel safe, avoid conflict, reduce anxiety and to protect prestige and fragile egos. Some examples of this include, on a personal level, willful blindness can occur when a spouse turns a blind eye to the affair of their partner. On an institutional level, some great examples of willful blindness include Hollywood and Harvey Weinstein, the Catholic Church and child molestation. I believe the current situation we find ourselves in, with much of the mainstream narrative and the medical establishment and policy makers not acknowledging quite horrific, serious and common harms from this vaccine, is another example of willful blindness. And I also say this with full empathy, because I was one of those people that was for a very long time, willfully blind to the harms of the COVID vaccine. In January 2021, I was one of the first people to take two doses of the COVID mRNA vaccine because I volunteered in a vaccine centre. I still believe that traditional vaccines are some of the safest amongst all pharmacological interventions in medicine and I could not conceive of any possibility whatsoever of this vaccine causing harm. As a public figure and respected doctor in the UK, I have built relationships across the board with many other public figures, including celebrities and politicians, who often come to me for medical advice. One of those people was film director Gurinder Chadha, who you may be familiar with some of her work, including the movie "Bend It like Beckham", who had asked me whether or not she should take the vaccine and had sent me blogs which I dismissed and regarded as anti vax nonsense. I was then asked to go on good morning, Britain because Gurinder Chadha, the director herself tweeted that I had convinced her to take the vaccine. The main reason for this TV appearance was to help tackle vaccine hesitancy, which was very prominent amongst people from ethnic minority groups in the UK. I made the point on that programme that I understand where vaccine hesitancy was coming from because of the history that I have been involved with over many years in highlighting the shortcomings of pharmaceutical industry influence over medicine. And I even made the point, if I remember correctly, that they have been found guilty of fraud on many occasions, that the third most common cause of death, prepandemic after heart disease and cancer, is prescribed medications. I, however, reassured the public and said that despite these figures, of everything we do in medicine, traditional vaccinations are amongst the safest. I still believe this to be the case. A few months later, in April 2021, I met with a colleague and friend of mine who I regard as one of the brightest cardiologists in the United Kingdom. I was surprised when he told me that he had not taken the COVID vaccine. He explained to me that he had concerns because he had seen in the supplementary appendix of Pfizer's original trial that there were four cardiac arrests in the vaccine group and only one in the placebo. These numbers were small and did not reach statistical significance. So this could be random chance, or his concern was it could represent a signal of problems in the future. And if this was the case, we are going to have a huge problem. He said he'd rather wait and see what happens before taking the vaccine. On July 26, 2021, my father, aged 73, who was a very prominent, well known doctor in the UK, including being the honorary vice president of the British Medical Association and had received honours from the Queen of England with an OBE, suffered an unexpected sudden cardiac arrest. I was particularly devastated by this happening and I was also I find it difficult to understand why my father, who was a fit and well man, I knew his cardiac history and his cardiac status, would suffer a cardiac arrest. But also my initial investigation was to try and understand why there had been a 30 minutes ambulance delay arriving to his apartment. Two weeks later, the deputy chief nurse of NHS England, a government health body, called me up. She was very upset, she knew my father very well and she was crying and she told me, Aseem, there's something I need to tell you. She in effect told me that throughout the country, for the last two months prior to my father's cardiac arrest in most regions of the UK, ambulances were not getting to patients in time for heart attacks and cardiac arrests. And there had been a deliberate, and I will use these words because I mentioned it, I've mentioned it before, a cover up involving the government and the Department of Health to withhold this information from doctors and the public. I worked with an investigative journalist with the I newspaper in the UK to write an article and a news story that became BBC News headlines a few months later, exposing this. Just before I exposed this, I messaged a professor of cardiology who I trust in the UK. He has a leadership role to explain to him what had happened and what I was about to do. I have text message evidence of this. He told me not to do this because it would make me enemies. I explained to him that I had a duty to patients and the public. I'm highlighting this as one example and I'll give you more examples of a cultural problem within medicine. The next part of this story is the post mortem findings of my father. They did not make any sense to me. I am considered a leading expert, maybe in the world, on the development and progression of coronary artery disease. My father had two severe blockages in his coronary arteries. There was no actual evidence of heart attack and likely there was a rhythm disturbance because of reduced blood supply that led to his cardiac arrest. Then in, within the space of a few weeks, around October and November, 3, different sources of information was brought to my attention that made me realise that there was probably a significant problem with the COVID mRNA vaccine. The first in October 2021. I remember I was giving lectures in Stockholm. I was contacted by a journalist with a Times newspaper who reported to me and said, Dr Malhotra, we have reports of an unexplained 25% increase in heart attacks in hospitals in Scotland and asked me what I thought was going on. I explained to her that at that time, with the evidence I knew in my own experience, I said that two likely contributory factors were lockdown stress. We know that when populations undergo severe stress after war, for example, there is an increase in heart attacks and strokes that can last for many years. She asked me whether I thought that there was a contribution. I was surprised when she asked me whether I thought there may be a contribution of the COVID vaccine to these heart attacks. I said to her, a good scientist should never exclude any possibility. But I felt at the time it was unlikely to be related to the COVID vaccine. But we should watch this space and keep our eyes open. A few weeks later, a publication appeared in the Journal Circulation, which is considered the highest impact cardiology journal in the United States that revealed a potentially very strong link between the COVID mRNA vaccines and acceleration in heart attack risk. Very specifically, in several hundred people of middle age, there was a plausible mechanism, by use of inflammatory markers in the blood, that increased the baseline risk of those people having a heart attack in five years, from 11% to 25%, just within two months of having the COVID mRNA vaccines. Of course, this is one bit of data, but even if partially true, that is a huge increase in risk in a very short space of time. And for me now made me think and link back to why my father may have suffered a cardiac arrest six months after having two doses of the vaccine. I remember thinking and speaking to a colleague, that if this was true, then we were going to see an increase in cardiac arrests, heart attacks and excess deaths in heavily vaccinated countries for the next few years. Then within a few weeks, I was called up by a whistleblower at a very prestigious british institution. I will name that institution, which I have not done publicly before as a University of Oxford. This cardiologist explained to me that a group of researchers in his department had accidentally found, through the use of very specialised imaging of the heart, that there was a signal of increased inflammation of the heart arteries, which was there in the vaccinated, but not there in the unvaccinated. The lead researcher of that group had sat down, the juniors, and had said that we are not going to explore these findings any further because it may affect our funding from the pharmaceutical industry. At that point, with these three bits of information, I then felt it was my ethical duty to speak out. And I went on GBNews to talk about what I'd found what I'd heard and I'd asked for the Vaccine Committee of the UK on TV to investigate this, to see whether there was a real problem with the vaccine in relation to heart issues. Around the same time which I found very strange is that the Secretary of State for Health at that stage, who was not Matt Hancock, was Sajid Javid, had announced in parliament that we are going to introduce legislation to ensure that all healthcare workers are mandated to have the COVID vaccine. For me, this, by that stage had no ethical or scientific justification, because certainly after the summer of 2021, it had become very apparent that the COVID mRNA vaccine was not stopping infection and it certainly was not stopping transmission. It was understood that approximately 80,000 NHS workers had refused at this stage to have the COVID vaccine. And now they were threatened with losing their job if by April the following year they had not been fully vaccinated. Many of these people were very concerned and contacted me around that time, I was also conducting many interviews, both through the BBC and Sky News and GBNews in regards to what happened with my father's ambulance delay. And I used it as an opportunity on the mainstream media to call for Sajid Javid, the secretary for health, to U-turn on the introduction of a mandate for healthcare workers based upon the fact that I felt it was not scientific and it was unethical. I also received my own personal backlash from these comments where I was contacted by the Royal College of Physicians who I had an affiliation with, and they asked me to respond to anonymous complaints from doctors that I was spreading, in quotes, antivax disinformation. I felt with my own knowledge and experience of the healthcare system that this was a direct response probably fueled by a combination of willful blindness and institutional corruption. To elaborate a bit further, when I say institutional corruption, I mean that my view was that the complaints were likely being fueled by academics with financial ties to the pharmaceutical industry. I felt very concerned about the potential introduction of the vaccine, well, the vaccine mandate. And therefore I decided there were two things that I decided to do. The first was I made a phone call to the chairman of the British Medical Association in December 2021. I had a good relationship with him and he respected my opinion. And I spent 2 hours on the phone explaining to him everything that I knew up to that stage about my concerns of the COVID mRNA vaccine. He said to me, "Aseem, nobody appears to critically appraise the evidence on the COVID mRNA vaccine as well as you have from our conversation, he said, most of my colleagues are getting their information on the benefits and harms of the vaccine from the BBC". This was replicated by the former chair of the CDC in the United States, Rochelle Walensky, who in an interview later on had said that her initial optimism of the vaccine benefits came from CNN News report. I say this just to emphasise that we should all accept our vulnerabilities to where we receive health information. Even doctors, policymakers, judges and lawyers are all influenced on the public massively by mainstream media. The chairman of the BMA also agreed with me. There was no ethical or scientific justification for mandating the COVID vaccine. He said the BMA also did not support it. And he said because of my conversation with him, he would speak directly to the secretary for health, Sajid Javid. One month later, at the end of January 2022, the COVID vaccine mandate for healthcare workers was overturned. I at that stage, given the fact that there was some backlash happening towards me, I realised that because this is a very big issue and area, and not my initial area of expertise, I needed to carry out my own critical analysis of the COVID mRNA vaccines. I spent six to nine months critically appraising the data, including speaking to two Pfizer whistleblowers, three investigative medical journalists and eminent scientists from the University of Oxford, Stanford and Harvard. The most critical bit, the most critical research that was published on this issue, which I think the whole court should acknowledge in August 2022, was published in the journal Vaccine. That research was conducted by some of the world's top independent of drug industry influence academics. That research, we was able to reanalyze the original randomised control trials conducted by Pfizer and Moderna. They were able to do this because new information was made available on the FDA's website and Health Canada's website. The conclusions of that paper were really very disturbing. The original trials that led to the drug regulatory approval of these vaccines revealed that you were more likely to suffer serious harm from taking the vaccine, specifically hospitalisation, life changing event or disability, than you were to be hospitalised with COVID That rate of harm at two months was very high at 1 in 800. Just to give you some perspective, historically we have suspended other vaccines for much less. In 1976, the swine flu vaccine was pulled because it was found to cause a neurological syndrome called Guillain-Barre syndrome In one in 100,000 people. In 1999, the rotavirus vaccine was suspended because it was found to cause a form of bowel obstruction in children affecting 1 in 10,000. This was 1 in 800. In my view, it was very clear that given this information, published in the highest impact Vaccine journal in the world, peer reviewed, and has not had any significant rebuttals, that this vaccine now, in my view, should never have been approved for use in a single human being in the first place. In my view, this very important court case in some ways, actually is a distraction from the much bigger issue, which is there should be court cases around the world with a full inquiry into the pharmaceutical industry and an inquiry as to how we got this so very wrong. Of course, one could argue this is just one bit of research, but actually, unfortunately, there are different, many different strands of research that are showing a signal of considerable and common serious harm from these vaccines. From pharmacovigilance data that is reporting what we call yellow card reports from the public. We have plausible biological mechanism of harm. We have other research called observational data. We have autopsy data also confirming that certainly with the majority of people who died within a short space of time of having the vaccine in relation to the heart, was definitively caused by the vaccine. This is really a very, very, very horrific situation we find ourselves in. One would hope and expect that the regulators should be independently evaluating all medications. But of course, the evidence reveals this is far from true. There was an investigation by the BMJ, also published in the summer of 2022, which revealed that most of the major regulators across the world were taking most of their money from the drug industry. For example, the MHRA in the UK receives 86% of its funding from the drug industry, and the FDA in America receives 65% of its funding from the drug industry, A fact that most doctors do not know. And therefore, I would not expect members of the court to know this either, is that very, very rarely do drug industry sponsored research get independently evaluated. Clinical trial data can often involve thousands of pages of information on individual patients. The drug companies hold onto that raw data. They then give summary results to the regulator, who are then paying, who have an incentive to approve the drugs, and the drugs are then approved. I made these points in my peer reviewed article published in the Journal of Insulin Resistance in September 2022, where I concluded that we should pause and investigate the issue around the COVID mRNA vaccines. I have since then been campaigning and advocating for a return to ethical evidence based medical practise around the world. Some of the clear solutions moving forward would be changes in the law that are required so that patients, doctors, members of the public can have greater confidence in the information they receive to make decisions about their health. Two very clear, low hanging fruit solutions, which are both ethical, scientific and democratic, would be that the drug industry should be allowed to develop drugs, but they shouldn't be allowed to test them themselves. And they certainly shouldn't be allowed to design their own research to and hold onto the raw data. Their information needs to be independently evaluated. One other clear solution would also be that the medical regulators, again, should not be taking any money from the industry, as this is a gross conflict of interest. I also want to highlight for people to understand the bigger picture. Prior to the pandemic, I had realised that there was a big problem with the reliability of clinical research, where invariably the results of clinical trials on all drugs sponsored by the drug industry, grossly exaggerate their safety and benefits. I have taken this information to the European Parliament, where I spoke in 2019, and I spoke to very senior politicians in the UK government. But although they were sympathetic, they felt that the issue was much bigger than them as individuals, and therefore it also needed media attention to get public awareness on the importance of such an inquiry. Before we continue with further questions, as I've been speaking for quite a long time now I'll just finish with two references just for the court and the judges to understand just how bad this problem is. Prepandemic the man who I call the Stephen Hawking of medicine is Professor John Ioannidis from the University of Stanford. The reason I call him the Stephen Hawking of Medicine is he's the most cited medical researcher in the world and is a mathematical genius. In 2006, he published a paper which was entitled why most published research findings are false. In that paper, he makes a point that the greater the financial interests in a given field, the less likely the research findings are to be true. I say this in context of the Pfizer mRNA vaccine which has made the company $100 billion. The other point that he makes in a further paper in 2017 is, again, the reason the system continues as it is is most doctors are unaware of the information they receive when they make clinical decisions has been corrupted by commercial influence. The other credible name I will mention is the editor of the Lancet, Richard Horton, who I personally know. In 2015, he wrote an article in the Lancet in relation to a secret meeting that had taken place with himself and some of the world's top medical academics. In that, he wrote that possibly half of the medical published literature may simply be untrue. And he said that science has taken a turn towards darkness. But who's going to take the first step to clean up the system? I believe in this case and in this court today, this is going to be a very pivotal potential moment in history for that first step. She was a nurse in the San Francisco Bay Area throughout the entire COVID episode. I had heard horror stories of relatives not being able to see their loved ones, of deaths caused by the treatment protocols, and, finally, deaths caused by the injections people were pressured into taking just to make it all stop. My interview with Gail dives deep into these issues. What went on in the hospitals during the so-called pandemic is a huge story. Many witnessed the hospitals' horror stories, but few have had the courage to talk about it. Because Gail is so refreshingly candid and forthcoming and doesn't pull any punches about what she saw, I found my interview with her to be one of the most compelling I've done to date. Gail describes how patients were systematically offered a drug named Remdesivir, a drug owned by Gilead Sciences, a biopharmaceutical company with close ties to Bill Gates. Remdesivir was made the "standard of care" by Anthony Fauci for COVID-19. As Gail recounts, Remdesivir caused patients' lungs to fill with liquid. Once that occurred, the oxygen levels of the patients dropped, precipitating intubation -- a procedure well known for its low survival rate. All the while, hospitals were rewarded for harming patients and ultimately for causing their deaths, Gail reveals. Why were family members not allowed to see loved ones on their deathbeds? Key points of the interview include: • Hospitals were actually empty when the press told us they were full. • 90% or more of the COVID deaths were actually caused by the treatment protocols dictated from above, not the virus. There were both early treatments as well as inpatient treatments available that reduced the COVID death rate by over 90%. • The COVID vaccines increased all-cause mortality in hospitals by up to 80% according to one ICU doctor I spoke to who worked in the same hospital as Gail and made meticulous notes on patient outcomes. • One of the potential reasons people believed that there was a “pandemic of the unvaccinated” is that the EMR systems were programmed to default all COVID cases to unvaccinated and nurses weren’t told how to change it. • After the vaccines rolled out for an age group is when the hospitals started seeing very unusual things they’ve never seen or rarely seen before for that age group. • Doctors are still afraid to speak out. Bottom line: it wasn’t the virus that caused the pandemic. Were hospitals actually "full and overwhelmed" in 2020 and 2021 as the media wanted us to believe? According to this nurse whistleblower, "they weren't." Nurse Gail Macrae began questioning the COVID protocols when she began having to refuse entry to family members of dying patients. The administration of remdesivir and thwarting of alternative treatments further contributed to her skepticism. Sharyl Attkisson reports on COVID vaccine hospital mandates which started at Houston Methodist Hospital. Original Video: https://fullmeasure.news/news/cover-story/hospital-mandates The alarm is being sounded at hospitals across the country in critical condition due to staffing shortages. There’s an important side of that story seldom heard: the role that Covid vaccine mandates played in those shortages. Today, our cover story comes from Houston where we have a rare group interview with medical professionals-turned-whistleblowers from the first hospital in the nation to require Covid vaccines. They see a disturbing health care trend that could ultimately impact all of us. Dr. Venu Julapalli: My name is Dr. Venu Julapalli. I was on staff at Houston Methodist, The Woodlands, and got suspended and ultimately terminated due to the vaccine mandate. Sharyl: You did not want to get vaccinated? Julapalli: No. Dr. Venu Julapalli is among an outspoken group of medical professionals once affiliated with Houston Methodist. Methodist was the first hospital system in the nation to require Covid vaccines. Dr. Mary Crow: I refused to get the vaccine. Dr. Mary Talley Bowden: I spoke out on social media saying vaccine mandates were wrong. Carol Avila: And I said, "I don't want to take it.” Given Fessler: I ultimately gave my notice, and I went somewhere else. Owen Robinson: I was suspended and then terminated. It’s rare to find medical professionals from such a prominent hospital system speaking on camera on the topic — punished, they say, for using independent medical judgement, which they consider a hallmark of sound medicine. Dr. Julapalli started an email group of more than 1,000 of his colleagues to discuss and debate the policies. Many, he said, would only share their true feelings with him in private. Julapalli: The level of fear among our colleagues, among the medical staff, in terms of expressing their opinion, whatever it was, because they were afraid that they were going to be retaliated against by the institution, Houston Methodist, was off the charts and continues to be off the charts. Dr. Mary Crow is an oncologist hematologist who, like Dr. Julapalli, lost privileges to practice medicine at Methodist for refusing the vaccine. Crow: You have the right to put up your hand and say, "What the hell is going on here? Please explain this to me," and not risk obliteration of your personal and professional life. Dr. Mary Talley Bowden, an ear, nose, and throat specialist, also lost privileges at Methodist. Talley Bowden: I've tested over 80,000 people for Covid, and that's what first alerted me to what was going on, because we keep track of who's vaccinated and who's not. And the patients who were vaccinated and testing positive were just as sick, if not sicker, than the ones that weren't. And eventually, I saw more vaccinated patients testing positive than unvaccinated, and that's when I really became vocal — and Methodist did not like that. Houston Methodist began firing unvaccinated employees in June of 2021. CEO Dr. Marc Boom made the controversial vaccine mandate a linchpin of his leadership — and encouraged others to follow. Dr. Marc Boom, Houston Methodist President and CEO (June 11, 2021, MSNBC): I think patients should be demanding this at all hospitals, and frankly, I think you will see the floodgates begin to open at hospitals. We’ve seen a whole bunch of hospitals follow suit. It took a couple months, but they’ve been following suit. And I think you’re going to see many, many more. And there were "many more." With Houston Methodist leading the pack, within three months it was reported that at least 174 health systems were mandating Covid vaccines. The requirements triggering protests and court battles. A lawsuit against Methodist filed by employees got dismissed. The federal judge ruled that the hospital had made “a choice made to keep staff, patients, and their families safer.” Many at Methodist agreed. But these seasoned professionals claim the vaccine mandate didn’t make patients safer at all. And they gave numerous accounts of vaccinated employees coming to work ill. Owen Robinson is a critical care registered nurse. Robinson: At that time, the management in Methodist ICU forced two nurses to come in sick. Sharyl: Sick with Covid? Robinson: Positive with covid, with symptoms, fevers, and take care of patients in the ICU. So that completely obliterates their argument as far as patient safety, because there is nothing more unsafe than having sick nurses taking care of immunocompromised patients in the ICU. One nurse was so sick, she had a trainee, a new nurse, and she spent the entire day sitting at the desk, most of the time with her head down on the desk because she was so ill, and her trainee was taking care of the patients. Robinson says he originally agreed to get fully vaccinated to keep his job, but was fired after he refused the booster. Robinson: As far as the people who were vaccinated, they still got sick anyway. Sharyl: And you were vaccinated? Robinson: I was fully vaccinated. Sharyl: And you got Covid? Robinson: And I got Covid. Lots of the nurses in the unit got Covid. And then some of them got Covid multiple times. And then, even after the booster came out, there were nurses who were fully vaccinated and boosted who still got Covid more than one time. So, we didn't see any efficacy particularly with the booster. I wasn't going to get the booster, because it seemed completely pointless and useless. And so, therefore, I was terminated. Nurse Carol Avila and Given Fessler, a respiratory therapist, both got religious exemptions from the mandate due to the vaccines’ use of cells from aborted fetuses. They were tested weekly for Covid while working at Methodist. Until last fall. Fessler: They came out with a new vaccine called the Novavax and they gave us a 10-day warning saying, "Good news, there's a new vaccine out that does not go against your currently-approved exemption.” I applied for another religious exemption, and they came back a few weeks later, and they denied it, and they gave no reason for the denial. They just said, "It has not been approved." Sharyl: So? Fessler: So, I ultimately gave my notice, and I went somewhere else. Avila: I did have Covid in January 2021, and that was also one of the reasons that I didn't want to be vaccinated, besides my religious beliefs. But I also had to get tested every single week, and I never tested positive. And then my coworkers who got vaccinated — double, triple vaccinated — they all got it in my area. So it just was a confirmation to me that I did have the antibodies, because I've never gotten it again. Julapalli: The religious exemption issue, Houston Methodist has made into a joke. I had a religious exemption against the flu vaccine at Houston Methodist. My religious exemption for the Covid vaccine was denied. My religion has not changed. My very own brother has a religious exemption at Houston Methodist, The Woodlands, now. We have the same religion. There is no rhyme or reason for how Houston Methodist is handling religious exemptions. It's completely arbitrary and capricious. We wanted to hear Houston Methodist’s side of the story, but a spokesman declined our interview requests and did not answer our questions — including one about a particularly contentious allegation. Dr. Julapalli says his colleague claimed that a high-ranking official at Methodist offered her the opportunity to fake getting the vaccine. Julapalli: She told us that it would be done internally, and she told us that when she asked him, "Has this been offered to anyone else?" he said, "I can neither confirm nor deny that.” Methodist declined to answer when we asked whether any employees were offered an opportunity to pretend to be vaccinated. We also asked whether the hospital communicated with federal health officials or vaccine makers about the mandates, and whether Methodist was offered any financial benefit or gift related to mandating vaccines. A spokesman did not respond. In an interview in June of 2021, Methodist CEO Dr. Boom said the hospital’s policies were safety-and-science-driven. Dr. Marc Boom, Houston Methodist President and CEO (June 11, 2021, MSNBC): Yeah, we’ve said all along we will be driven by the science. We’re a science-based and medically-based institution, we have a faith underpinning, and we have a set of very, very strong values as an institution that puts patients at the center. So when people say to me, "I don’t want to put patients at the center," by their actions, yeah, they are not people who are a fit for our organization. Meantime, industry insiders are pointing to a global crisis in health care staffing. Italy is countering by reinstalling health care workers who were suspended for refusing the Covid vaccine. In New York, 100% of hospitals are reporting nursing shortages. More than 75% say other key positions can’t be filled. And half say they’re reducing or eliminating services. Texas, where Methodist is based, is also said to be suffering an ongoing hospital “staffing crisis." In a statement, Methodist told us, “We are not having nurse shortages.” Whatever the case, this group insists that punishing highly-credentialed health care professionals for their medical judgement will translate to poor patient care in the larger picture. Julapalli: You, our patients, our community, our neighbors, you have the power. We get our power from you. You have the power to question these hospitals that you're literally putting your lives into their hands. You have the power to question, why is this culture existing? Why are physicians so afraid to speak out when we're supposed to be independent? You the patient has the power to question what's going on here. Sharyl (on-camera): A court has ordered New York City to reinstate 1,750 workers fired over mandates with backpay. The city is appealing. "They Deliberately Gave The Unvaccinated A Lower Standard Of Care" – A Doctor Speaks Out By Dr. James Miller Daily Sceptic April 13, 2023 https://dailysceptic.org/2023/04/13/they-deliberately-gave-the-unvaccinated-a-lower-standard-of-care-a-doctor-speaks-out/ I am a physician who stood against the false narratives swirling around Covid and, for a time, it seemed like I lost. Before Covid became a public reality, I was working as a successful trauma surgeon and surgical ICU physician in the hospital that had the first diagnosed Covid case in America. I was working as one of the more senior surgeons of a team of 12 surgeons. The hospital and medical community had already been struggling prior to Covid with various departures from reality with narratives including ‘racism everywhere’ and ‘diversity as long as it supports deviancy’, but it wasn’t appearing to dramatically affect patient care. In 2018-2019, I stumbled onto a fraud scheme perpetrated by some of the administrative doctors in our hospital that did cause patient harm, so I reported our hospital administration for fraud. I similarly observed and discovered other connected issues that caused patient harm by various other providers that I tried to bring to light in our hospital. I was ‘rewarded’ with 12 complaints filed against me over a two week period, in retaliation. These complaints accused me of breaches of almost every aspect of professional behavior and ethics. They followed one of the administrators sending out an email asking her colleagues to “get rid of Dr. Miller”. None of these allegations stood (they were all false to begin with), and I continued to do my job to the best of my abilities in this hostile situation, but it became increasingly difficult. Eventually, every single complaint was dismissed as unsubstantiated. Then, through February and March of 2020, our hospital had a large number of Covid patients including a real upsurge of many sick patients in early March. A couple of weeks later, it hit the news, but only after the virus had passed its inflection point in our hospital and after our healthcare system was not in any threat of having inadequate resources. Things then went completely mad with hype and fear – again, this was after the real infectious surge was passed. Suddenly, our hospital outcomes and quality data became hidden and opaque to us. Prior to this, almost all data were openly shared and discussed in quality assurance meetings. The hospital forced upon us a narrative that was pure lunacy and contrary to all available observations and previously available data. A chilling example is the following. I was working a shift in the ICU in late April 2020 and had basically nothing to do because greater than half our beds were empty. We were ‘low censusing’ any nurses willing to go home because there were so few sick patients. I was having a cup of coffee, chatting with the staff and another ICU physician, who was in leadership, when the daily newspaper was delivered. Prior to the paper being delivered, we were all relaxed, jocular and noting how little work we all had. The other ICU physician picked up the local paper where the main headline said, “Local ICU Overwhelmed”. The article was referencing our ICU, as we were the only hospital in the county. He looked at me, started sweating, panicked and said, “What are we going to do? We may not be able to handle this!” I replied with, “Pour another cup of coffee and laugh at the morons writing the paper.” He became visibly distressed and left to call the hospital administration about the situation, who confirmed they were complicit with the newspaper article. This colleague was one of the medical directors of our ICU. Our hospital and ICU were not overfull at the peak number of infections in March 2020. In fact, the ICU was never overfull, even after the horrible protocols that hurt so many patients were established. I knew we were in serious trouble as a medical community when clinical leaders started believing the words in a newspaper and hospital administrators more than their own eyes and experience. Then, I watched as every policy, practice and quality metric that makes a trauma and surgical programme have good patient outcomes be undermined or abandoned by my colleagues and hospital administration. I filed countless complaints to our quality department for disgusting breaches of care that were now becoming commonplace. I could not turn my back on my oaths taken to advocate for patients. Between mid-2020 and 2021, following a leak of information from the opaque administration, I learned that our unanticipated morbidity and mortality numbers had more than doubled for indexed trauma patients. It was horribly demoralising to watch. After the vaccine was rolled out in late 2020, it became a functional mandate in the broader community, and then definitively mandated by the late summer of 2021. The medical community in the county I was working in (Snohomish, Washington State) started refusing to care for unvaccinated patients except in the hospital setting. I couldn’t believe that patients were banned from accessing basic primary care at first, but then I spoke to a man at my church who was denied both refills of his diabetic medications and treatment for a sinus infection by his primary care provider, all because of his Covid vaccination status. This was so inconceivable that I still didn’t believe it. Even when patients did make it to the hospital, I learned that the physicians and staff in the emergency room were directed to provide a lower tier of medicine to this group of patients. It was less than acceptable, and worse, less dignified, than the care given to any other patients pre- and post- Covid. I had to verify with physician leaders that they approved of this inhumanity. I found out that all the major healthcare systems in the county had agreed to this action, and drove the creation of the policies that demanded physicians act in direct opposition to their oaths. After discovering this, I departed from the medical community in spirit. Working with my pastor, we turned our church into a free clinic to care for those ostracised from society. I obtained independent malpractice insurance and we started seeing patients. People were desperate. We didn’t advertise, but there were so many people seeking basic healthcare that we struggled to see everyone. I did my best to see people in their time of need, but it was hard. I was still working in my full-time hospital position. I just didn’t have enough hours in the day. Most of the people I cared for were seen at the church – they were met with maskless smiles, prayer, support and free medical care. Sometimes, people would be waiting in my driveway for me when I arrived home in the early morning after a night shift or late at night after I finished a day shift. What became obvious as the most important thing about our clinic is that our patients needed to be treated as valuable people created in God’s image. Prior to this experience, I was a seasoned (and hardened) subspecialist with the best reputation one could hope for in the hospitals I worked in. When other doctors, health executives, nurses and local politicians or their families had surgical problems, I was often the one asked to deliver their care even if I wasn’t scheduled to be working. After our health care system abandoned the oaths we took as physicians, I had an identity crisis and pivoted to putting more efforts into the free clinic, caring for the dispossessed patients. Eventually, my work at the free clinic treating unvaccinated patients became known, and the hospital administration learned of it. Subsequently, the real pressure against me started. The hospital responded by opening an investigation of me on synthesised charges of ‘micro-aggression’. There ended up being two separate and independent investigations (one by the hospital, one by my physician group leadership who were working in tandem with the hospital) into my conduct. My colleagues, who months earlier asked for my help and guidance about both professional and personal matters, would no longer return my calls, text messages or emails, or speak to me in public, for fear of being labelled as affiliated with me while in my state of political disfavour. The investigations themselves and the repercussions to my reputation were the punishment. I was treated as guilty, even when proven innocent, by the hospital administration and my colleagues. The investigations eventually exonerated me, my behaviour and my healthcare delivery, but left open the possibility for immediate suspension or termination if I committed a ‘micro-aggression’ in the future. Obviously, this was a no-win scenario for me since micro-aggressions are subjective, undefinable, unprovable and therefore indefensible. I refused to continue working without an independent mediator, so the hospital gladly paid out my contract instead of mediation and restoration. Separately during this time I was reported to the State Medical Board by an outpatient pharmacist for prescribing a two-week course of fluvoxamine (an anti-depressant) to help a patient recovering after Covid. This prescription had been banned by the Washington State Medical Association as a treatment for Covid or its repercussions. Incidentally, the patient had a positive response and near complete recovery from her illness, but the pharmacist and WSMA didn’t seem to care about that data point and were apparently just offended that I violated their protocol. By March and April of 2022, multiple other clinics in the county began to accept care for most patients, regardless of vaccination status, and so we wound down the free clinic at my church, transitioning people’s care to physicians in established practices who would now agree to deliver appropriate care. As I had been reported to the state (although no formal charges were brought) and I was being pushed out of hospital medicine for practising ethical medicine, I knew it was time to leave Washington State. The message to me was clear: if I stayed, I would have formal investigations that would prohibit me from obtaining a medical licence in another state. My livelihood would be stripped away. So, we sold our homes and boats, liquidated our assets and moved to South Florida in May 2022. I was, and am, bitter at the medical establishment that committed these crimes, so I planned to retire at age 50 with the move and have nothing further to do with the establishment. However, after the hurricane came through Florida in the fall of 2022, I started doing volunteer work for hurricane victims. This included some medical relief work. I realised there is still good that can be done in medicine, that people need healthcare providers, and that by nature, I am a healer. So, in February of 2023, I returned to practising medicine and started working as a primary care physician at a holistic clinic where no patient is turned away. I discovered that I enjoy being a family physician, too. I lost my prestigious career and my social position, but I did not lose my ethics or integrity. I did not violate my oaths of practice. Story-At-A-Glance • According to Collette Martin, a practicing nurse who testified before a Louisiana Health and Welfare Committee hearing December 6, 2021, children are having "terrifying" reactions to the COVID shot, yet her concerns are simply dismissed • The average number of adverse event reports following vaccination for the past 10 years has been about 39,000 annually, with an average of 155 deaths. That's for all available vaccines combined. The COVID jabs alone now account for 983,756 adverse event reports as of December 17, 2021, including 20,622 deaths -- and this doesn't include the underreporting factor, which we know is significant • Children are at risk for potentially lifelong health problems from the jab. Myocarditis (heart inflammation) has emerged as one of the most common problems, especially among boys and young men • Myocarditis is inversely correlated to age, so the risk gets higher the younger you are. The risk is also dose-dependent, with boys having a six fold greater risk of myocarditis following the second dose • British data show deaths among teenagers have spiked since that age group became eligible for the COVID shots. Between the week ending June 26 and the week ending September 18, 2020, 148 deaths were reported among 15- to 19-year-olds. During those same weeks in 2021, 217 deaths occurred in that age group -- an increase of 47% ............. Martin claims she and her colleagues have witnessed "terrifying" reactions to the COVID shots among children -- including blood clots, heart attacks, encephalopathy and arrhythmias -- yet their concerns are simply dismissed. Among elderly patients, she's noticed an uptick in falls and acute onset of confusion "without any known etiology." Coworkers are also experiencing side effects, such as vision and cardiovascular problems. Martin points out that few doctors or nurses are aware the U.S. Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System (VAERS) even exists, so injury reports are not being filed. Hospitals also are not gathering data on COVID jab injuries in any other ways, so there's no data to investigate even if you wanted to. According to Martin: "We are not just seeing severe acute [short term] reactions with this vaccine, but we have zero idea what any long-term reactions are. Cancers, autoimmune [disorders], infertility. We just don't know. "We are potentially sacrificing our children for fear of MAYBE dying, getting sick of a virus — a virus with a 99% survival rate. As of now, we have more children that died from the COVID vaccine than COVID itself. "And then, for the Health Department to come out and say the new variant [Omicron] has all the side effects of the vaccine reactions we're currently seeing — it's maddening, and I don't understand why more people don't see it. I think they do, but they fear speaking out and, even worse, being fired ... Which side of history will you be on? I have to know that this madness will stop." Martin also states she believes the hospital treatment protocol is killing COVID patients. Doctors agree that it's "not working," but that "it's all we have." But "that's simply not true," she says. "It's just what the CDC will allow us to give." What the VAERS Data Tell Us About COVID Jab Risks I recently interviewed Jessica Rose, Ph.D., a research fellow at the Institute for Pure and Applied Knowledge in Israel, about what the VAERS data tell us about the COVID jabs' risks. As noted by Rose, the average number of adverse event reports following vaccination for the past 10 years has been about 39,000 annually, with an average of 155 deaths. That's for all available vaccines combined. The COVID jabs alone now account for 983,756 adverse event reports as of December 17, 2021, including 20,622 deaths -- and this doesn't include the underreporting factor, which we know is significant and likely ranges from five to 40 times higher than reported. Most doctors and nurses don't even know what VAERS is and even if they do, they chose not to report the incidents. You can't even compare the COVID shots to other vaccines. They're by far the most dangerous injections ever created, yet there doesn't appear to be a cutoff for acceptable harm. No one within the CDC or Food and Drug Administration, which jointly run VAERS, has addressed these shocking numbers. Both agencies outrageously deny that a single death can be attributed to the COVID jabs, which is simply impossible. It's not statistically plausible. The FDA and CDC are also ignoring standard data analyses that can shed light on causation. It's known as the Bradford Hill criteria -- a set of 10 criteria that need to be satisfied in order to show strong evidence of causal relationship. One of the most important of these criteria is temporality, because one thing has to come before the other, and the shorter the duration between two events, the higher the likelihood of a causative effect. Well, in the case of the COVID jabs, 50% of the deaths occur within 48 hours of injection. It's simply not conceivable that 10,000 people died two days after their shot from something other than the shot. It cannot all be coincidence. Especially since so many of them are younger, with no underlying lethal conditions that threaten to take them out on any given day. A full 80% have died within one week of their jab, which is still incredibly close in terms of temporality. Children Risk Permanent Heart Damage Aside from the immediate risk of death, children are also at risk for potentially lifelong health problems from the jab. Myocarditis (heart inflammation) has emerged as one of the most common problems, especially among boys and young men. In early September 2021, Tracy Beth Hoeg and colleagues posted an analysis of VAERS data on the preprint server medRxiv, showing that more than 86% of the children aged 12 to 17 who report symptoms of myocarditis were severe enough to require hospitalization. Cases of myocarditis explode after the second shot, Hoeg found, and disproportionally affect boys. A full 90% of post-jab myocarditis reports are males, and 85% of reports occurred after the second dose. According to Hoeg et. al. "The estimated incidence of CAEs [cardiac adverse events] among boys aged 12-15 years following the second dose was 162 per million; the incidence among boys aged 16-17 years was 94 per million. The estimated incidence of CAEs among girls was 13 per million in both age groups." No doubt, doctors are seeing an increase in myocarditis, but few are willing to talk about it. In a recent Substack post, Steve Kirsch writes: "I just read a comment on my private 'healthcare providers only' substack. An estimated 100X elevation in rate of myocarditis, but nobody will learn of it since cardiologists aren't going to speak out for fear of retribution. "His comment was a private conversation he had with a pediatric cardiologist. The cardiologist is never going to say this in public, to the press, or have his name revealed since his first duty is to his family (keeping his job). "If a 'fact checker' called the cardiologist, he might either refuse to comment or say 'I'm seeing somewhat more cases after the vaccine rolled out.' Here's the exact comment that was posted to the private substack: "'Pre-jab, one or two cases per year of myocarditis. Now, half his waiting room. Tells parents they are 'studying' the causality. Refers them to infectious disease specialist for discussions on their other children. "Admits he and about 50% of his colleagues know what's going on but are too terrified to speak out for fear of retaliation from hospitals and state licensing boards. "Other 50% don't want to know, don't care and/or are reveling in the cognitive dissonance (like Dr. Harvey [Cohen] at Stanford) and/or letting loose their authoritarian demon. Good luck with these former colleagues of mine. The stench is overpowering.' "... From 1 or 2 cases per year to 'half his waiting room.' I don't know the size of his waiting room, but it's at least two people since he said 'half.' So, the rate has increased by: 250 day per year open/1.5 avg cases per year=166X." Myocarditis Is Not a Mild, Inconsequential Side Effect Together with Dr. Peter McCullough, in October 2021 Rose also submitted a paper on myocarditis cases in VAERS following the COVID jabs to the journal Current Problems in Cardiology. Everything was set for publication when, suddenly, the journal changed its mind and took it down. You can still find the pre-proof on Rose's website, though. The data clearly show that myocarditis is inversely correlated to age, so the risk gets higher the younger you are. The risk is also dose-dependent, with boys having a sixfold greater risk of myocarditis following the second dose. While our health authorities are shrugging off this risk saying cases are "mild," that's a frightening lie. The damage to the heart is typically permanent, and the three- to five-year survival rate for myocarditis has historically ranged from 56% to 83%. Patients with acute fulminant myocarditis (characterized by severe left ventricular systolic dysfunction requiring drug therapy or mechanical circulatory support) who survive the acute stage have a survival rate of 93% at 11 years, whereas those with acute nonfulminant myocarditis (left ventricular systolic dysfunction, but otherwise hemodynamically stable11) have a survival rate of just 45% at 11 years. This could mean that anywhere from 7% to 55% of the teens injured by these shots today might not survive into their late 20s or early 30s. Some might not even make it into their early 20s! How is this possibly an acceptable tradeoff for a virus you have practically zero risk of dying from as a child or adolescent? Excess Deaths Are Exploding, Including Among Teens Throughout the pandemic, the COVID jab was held out as the way back to normalcy. Yet, despite mass injections and boosters, excess deaths keep rising. For example, in the week ending November 12, 2021, the U.K. reported 2,047 more deaths than occurred during the same period between 2015 and 2019. COVID-19 cannot be entirely to blame, as it was listed on the death certificates for only 1,197 people. Even more telling is the fact that, since July 2021, non-COVID deaths in the U.K. have been higher than the weekly average in the five years prior to the pandemic. Heart disease and strokes appear to be behind many of the excess deaths, and both are known side effects of the COVID jab. In a November 28, 2021, Twitter post, Silicon Valley software engineer Ben M. (@USMortality) revealed that in the preceding 13 weeks, about 107,700 seniors died above the normal rate, despite a 98.7% vaccination rate. In another example, he used data from the CDC and census.gov to show excess deaths rising in Vermont even as the majority of adults have been injected. "Vermont had 71% of their entire population vaccinated by June 1, 2021," he tweeted. "That's 83% of their adult population, yet they are seeing the most excess deaths now since the pandemic!" Even more disturbing, British data show deaths among teenagers have spiked since that age group became eligible for the COVID shots. Between the week ending June 26 and the week ending September 18, 2020, 148 deaths were reported among 15- to 19-year-olds. Between the week ending June 25, 2021, and the week ending September 17, 2021, 217 deaths occurred in that age group. That's an increase of 47%! Deaths from COVID-19 also went up among 15- to 19-year-olds after the shots were rolled out for this age group. Significant concerns have been raised about the possibility that COVID-19 vaccines could worsen COVID-19 disease via antibody-dependent enhancement (ADE). Is that what's going on here? As reported by The Exposé, which conducted the investigation: "Correlation does not equal causation, but it is extremely concerning to see that deaths have increased by 47% among teens over the age of 15, and COVID-19 deaths have also increased among this age group since they started receiving the COVID-19 vaccine, and it is perhaps one coincidence too far." Minnesota Nurses Say Vaccine Injuries Likely Underreported AlphaNews August 30, 2021 https://alphanews.org/minnesota-nurses-say-vaccine-injuries-likely-underreported/ Minnesota nurses say that injuries related to the coronavirus vaccine are underreported as hospital administrators discourage use of the adverse reaction reporting system. The Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) is a government-administered database that health care professionals are required to use to report adverse reactions their patients have to vaccines. However, Minnesota nurses say that negative reactions to the COVID-19 vaccine are underreported as hospitals discourage their staff from recording them. These reports that the COVID shot may be more dangerous than the public is led to believe came by way of a town hall hosted by Rep. Erik Mortensen on Friday. The town hall was comprised of about two dozen nurses who came together to share their experiences working with the vaccine. Alpha News provided a livestream of the event. One of the nurses who spoke out said that her and her friends at other hospitals are “seeing more reactions with their patients post-vaccination than they’re seeing COVID patients.” This statement generated broad agreement from many of the other nurses who seem to have witnessed this same trend. Meanwhile, this nurse said her and her associates are “laughed at for bringing it [the side effects] up … There’s such an insane sense of bullying going on that people aren’t even wanting to speak up.” In addition to the anti-reporting social climate, the nurse explained that another confounding factor is how it takes half an hour to make a VAERS report. She said this makes it nearly impossible for understaffed, overburdened health care workers to find time to log each adverse reaction they see. “The nurses are being discouraged from reporting it because first of all it takes about 30 minutes to report on VAERS,” she said. For every report that exists, somebody “had to take 30 minutes out of their day to put that in and risk people walking by, seeing them doing this and belittling them,” the nurse added. “I would say that the VAERS reports hold a lot of clout because whoever put that in took their time to put that in,” the nurse concluded, responding to those who claim that VAERS data is unreliable since anyone can file a report. “I’m an ER nurse and I see all the strokes, the heart attacks, it is blatantly obvious what they [the vaccines] are causing, blatantly obvious,” a second nurse said at the town hall. “I don’t even know what to do with this,” said a third nurse, who is responsible for interacting with patients who call in to report the symptoms they’re having post-vaccination. She reported that the range of adverse reactions is broad and there are so many callers her line is overwhelmed. “I don’t know what to do so we send them to the emergency department and it gets written off and I don’t know what happens with the VAERS report,” she said. When this nurse raised concerns to the doctors at her institution about how many people seem to be dying after getting the shot, she said she received the following response: “The death number is wrong but most importantly the death number is related to death after they receive the vaccine. In other words the vaccine didn’t cause the death but was given in a time frame where death was reported.” Another nurse also said she got a concerning email from her hospital instructing her not to report whether or not new cases of the virus are occurring in patients who have been vaccinated. “We were also at one point reporting positive COVID cases of people that were vaccinated,” the nurse explained. “Two, three short weeks later [we got a] mass email that said we don’t want to know anymore whether they’re vaccinated or not.” “Why don’t you want to know whether this vaccine is working?” she asked. Many of those in attendance, including Mortensen, shared anecdotes about people they know who have suffered injuries post-shot. Apparently, health care workers have become so accustomed to seeing reactions occur that vaccine hesitancy is somewhat common. “You have health care systems that have very minimal people vaccinated. They want to tell you that they’re fully vaccinated — they are not,” one nurse reported. The nurses who are warry of receiving the vaccine also have some data to back them up. Use of the swine flu vaccine was discontinued in 1976 after about .001% of recipients responded poorly to the injection. According to a CDC report from the beginning of this year, VAERS shows that about .005% of COVID vaccine recipients suffer a serous reaction, .05% suffer a non-serious reaction and .0001% die. Although this death rate is fortunately very low, the rate of severe reactions is magnitudes higher than that of the swine flu vaccine that was deemed too unsafe for public consumption. ............ In October 2020 Dr. Andrew Hill was tasked to report to the World Health Organisation on the dozens of new studies from around the world suggesting that Ivermectin could be a remarkably safe and effective treatment for COVID-19.
