"Mayaru Moyaru is scouring the Aftcastle for any sun-beaten souls who might not have heard about this year's Moonfire Faire." Not my favorite seasonal event ever, but that's okay. This was a fun little distraction. These seasonal events keep pulling me back in.

No. I'm not doing one and then the other! This is a special combined event! Cant wait to see how it plays out! I know it's kind of weird combining holidays like that. But Ash Wednesday fell on Valentine's Day this year, so anything can happen. Easter was in March this year! The earliest possible date it could fall on!

I just hope this year wasn't as strange as last years. Yeesh...

And I know it's a bear to install because I paid 5 bucks to get and they gave me several .rar downloads to patch together, but I never could figure it out. Ah well.. such is life. Originally streamed on 11/02/2023 So this one kind of flew under my radar. I didn't play much of Fall Guys. Literally just one show. Loved it. But for one reason or another, I didn't pick it up again. (If I can't stream it, it gets bumped down on my pile of shame) But the fine folks at Square-Enix and Mediatronic decided to combine the two and give us a collaboration. Now, apparently, there was FFXIV items in Fall Guys, but I totally missed that. But I'm not missing this. We kind of goof off at first before get into playing shows. But I had a good time playing this, and we'll be doing more of these live on Twitch before the event is over.

Originally streamed on 10/31/2023 When the trick or treaters have gone home with their quarries, we fired up FFXIV Online again to enjoy the event! It was a fun one to be sure. I always enjoy the holiday themed events. At some point, I'd like to go back and play New Game + to check the game out from the beginning. But I'm still in the middle of Heavensward and Dawntrail is coming out within a year. So we'll see. I still love this game.

Maybe FFXIV had such an amazing turnaround going from "This MMO won't survive" to "We are having conventions for the game". But I definitely did get too emotional while playing this. But you can't know when you are going without first knowing where you came from. My life since first starting my adventures in Eorzea is radically different and I wouldn't change it for the world.
