White Zombie (1932)

Directed by Victor Halperin. The story is set in Haiti and follows a young couple, Madeleine and Neil, who travel there to get married. On their arrival, they encounter a wealthy plantation owner named Charles Beaumont (played by Robert Frazer), who becomes infatuated with Madeleine.
