Israeli soldiers allegedly shoot unarmed Palestinians

A video from Beit Rima, West Bank appears to show an incident where Israeli soldiers shoot three Palestinians, resulting in the death of 17-year-old Osaid Rimawi. CCTV footage of the shooting shows a group of Palestinian men seemingly minding their own business, then out of nowhere being hit by a hail of bullets. One man went down after being shot, and two others rushed in to offer aid. Both men were also shot, and another was shot again after trying to limp away. Three of the men are dropped by gunshot wounds. Two of them are shot again while lying on the ground. The footage ends with the soldiers entering the frame in a jeep.

The Israeli Defense Force (IDF) claimed that this was a ‘counter-terrorism operation’ and accused the Palestinians of throwing explosives. The footage does not appear to support this claim, and the survivors have since denied provoking any conflict. It is unclear if there will be an investigation into the shooting.
