Chinese street food vendor sells grilled ice cubes

Most edible things are better grilled, but up until now no one has ever thought to apply that logic to ice cubes, because, well, ice. One Chinese cook decided to buck this trend, resulting in the now-viral snack sensation that is grilled and seasoned ice cubes. At Yangfan Night Market in Changsha, one vendor can be seen preparing the ice cubes, admitting that they don't taste of anything much, and most people just buy them for the novelty.

‘These ice cubes are absolutely inedible, we just cook them to attract customers,’ said the vendor, proving that some people will eat anything if it’s fashionable. Just look at vegans.
