Society of the Spectacle, excerpts from “The Society of the Spectacle” by Guy Debord.

Upon analyzing Debord's work on the concept of the "spectacle," I discovered that it offers remarkable revelations regarding the utilization of imagery, symbolism, economic allure, and authoritarian power by our adversary, Satan, to envelop history and the passage of time. An all-encompassing collective belief in awe-inspiring and captivating phenomena that has obscured the perception of numerous individuals and will persist until the day of judgment.
