Moving Past Church Traditions to Present Truth

The first question led to another question on how believers who study sincerely and pray for the Holy Spirit's guidance can come to opposite conclusions on what the Bible is teaching.

An interesting conversation ensued, leading into how the teachings of the Seventh-day Adventist church (specifically the annual festivals and the interpretation of prophecy) are in opposition to what the Bible teaches. Tom shared some of his personal experiences when his Bible studies led him to conclude that the SDA church was in error on these topics.
