The excitement is building for the Christmas season as we are now 12 days until Christmas! Most in the Great Lakes Region expect and hope for a little bit of snow to enhance the Christmas spirit, but this year most variables favor a warmer than average start to the snowy season. A strong El Nino pattern and a positive phase of the NAO are contributing to this favored "Green Christmas".
