Ruth is a beautiful short story of love. It is a story of love at first sight. It presents the love side of redemption. However in this first chapter we hear of loss and heat-break, family tragedy. We finish the chapter with 2 destitute women seemingly without hope. But now they're living in the house of bread and in the land of praise. We have have to study the next 3 chapters, to see how God works a mighty work from hopeless circumstances.
