Single Tracker to 3D Object Track in Syntheyes
In this quick tip video we look at one way to use one tracker to create a 3D object track in Syntheyes. Inspired from an old video on the Syntheyes youtube channel. We first track our scene and set up a coordinate system. Then we track our car with a supervised track to get accurate 2d motion. Next we add a plane for our ground, this will be used to project our 2d tracker onto to create the 3D object path. After that we run the project tracker to object track script to produce our Object track. Last we will put in some simple geometry to check our path. This is an old technique that has a lot of different uses when trying to solve different 3d tracking issues. Especially useful for producing 3D object tracks when there are not enough points for a regular object track. Might have had a little too many cups of coffee for this one.
