Farmers rally in Berlin as government cuts tax breaks for agricultural fuel

Thousands of farmers gathered in the German capital to protest against a plan to abolish tax breaks for agricultural fuel and scrap a road tax exemption for tractors and combine harvesters. The demonstrators gathered at the iconic Brandenburg Gate, carrying flags and banners with slogans such as 'Cancel agricultural diesel? Not with us!' and 'Too much is too much.’
