Comfort Food, Wrapping Presents & An Exciting Delivery #12daysofchristmas

Merry Christmas!! On Day 6, it is a dreary weather day outside but inside we are opening up an exciting delivery, making comfort food and wrapping Christmas gifts.

Chicken Casserole Recipe:
Leftover chicken or turkey chopped/torn into bite size pieces (I normally use rotisserie chicken)
1 can cream of chicken or mushrooom soup (it is good with either one)
2 cups of mixed vegetables (either frozen or canned, drain all liquid if using canned)
1 to 3 cups of milk
1 package of Bisquick (original)
Preheat oven to 350. In casserole dish, combine the chicken, soup, vegetables and approximately 3/4 to 1 cup of the milk, salt and pepper to taste. In a separate mixing bowl, use the remaining milk combined with Bisquick to make the casserole bread topping, be sure to use enough milk so that the batter is pourable enough to completely cover the top of the chicken/vegetable mixture. Bake uncovered at 350 for 35-45 minutes or until the topping is a golden brown. Enjoy! This casserole will reheat well in the microwave so don't hesitate to make a double batch for busy work weeks!
