The Firmament

The firmament is a solid dome that God created which encloses the world. It separates the waters above in heaven from the waters below on the Earth. The sun, moon, and stars are fixed to the firmament. Psalm chapter 19 verse 1 - The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. Recent rocket launches can been seen hitting the firmament and look to be splashing into the waters above.
