Aaron Siri: "The claims made about vaccines often are dogma, religious beliefs. I mean, the idea that vaccines are the most robustly trialed products on the market is just simply false. And again, I don't take my word for it. Go to the FDA website." "We just did it for the hepatitis B vaccine. Pull it up for every single other childhood vaccine. Look at section 6.1. They also have the underlying clinical trial reports for a lot of them. Take a look at it. I will tell you, I can't claim to have any genius superpowers as a person or a lawyer to have done this. I literally just went to Google and I searched FDA licensed vaccines and you can pull them up and it's right there for the taking. But it's true." "Most people will just, it's almost like an incantation, safe and effective, safe and effective. The most robustly studied products in the market, the most safely studied, their safety review for years. You know, and the crazy part is this. We just looked at the clinical trials, right? And so when I do this and we could go through all the vaccines just like this, and it gets worse and worse." "You remember that Prevnar vaccine we looked at that at six months of safety review? So you're like, hey, all right, at least we got six months. So what would that show? You want to take a look at that one? It's pretty interesting if you want to open it up a second. Yeah, I'll share my screen one more time and I'll pop it up on the screen and we could take a look at it." "But I think it's very telling. Here is Prevnar 13, OK? This is the package insert, all right? And we are now in section 6.1. And here you have the section with serious adverse events. So this is what you really want to focus on, right? Because serious adverse events means something very serious. It's a defined term by the FDA. We could even go to the FDA website again." "You know, we can do serious. adverse events, FDA. And right here you could see it means death, life threatening, hospitalizability, congenital abnormality, required interventions to prevent permanent impairment, and then other serious, which effectively has to have one or the other. So serious adverse event is a very serious condition." "So let's go back to Prevnar 13. Now in this clinical trial, this is one of the top five selling products, right? You've got six months of safety review. Finally, so maybe We'll see what that shows. And here, I'm gonna highlight the sentence, and here's what they found. And remember, the kids in this trial, the babies and infants and toddlers were healthy. They don't let really sick kids in." "So you have completely typically healthy children, healthy, get the product trapped for six months. And here's what they found. Serious adverse events reported following vaccination infants and toddlers occurred in 8.2% that's in a six month period among Prevnar 13 recipients and 7.2% among Prevnar, that's Prevnar 7 recipients." "Now, from the perspective of just safety, from a parent, I might go, oh my goodness, that is highly concerning. But from the perspective of the FDA, as long as the experimental group and the control group have a similar rate, that's deemed safe because they're comparing it to quote unquote the standard of care. Right." "So you might say, well, maybe this is just a fluke, this super high rate of adverse events and totally healthy infants and toddlers. Right. Maybe we know for sure, Prevnar 7 is safe because that had a long-term placebo-controlled trial. Right. And before we flip there, let's just read this one sentence. I have somebody, one of my favorite sentences." "It says, the longer reporting period, meaning six months, which I normally never do, vaccine trials may have resulted in serious adverse events reported in a higher percentage of subjects than for other vaccines. Oh, wait a second. We finally looked for six months instead of a few days and a few weeks, and we found a super high rate." "So what's our excuse for the high rate? Oh my God. You can't pick stuff up. And here's another piece I can never make up. And honestly, if I'd have thought of the most nefarious things I could say about vaccines, I would never have said Hep B was licensed on five days because I thought it was totally nuts." "And I'm gonna show you another thing that I think I think it's totally nuts. I'm gonna open up the package insert for Prevnar 7. So you remember this product that had the 7.2% adverse event rate? Yes. So you might hope that here's the package insert for that product. So safety was reviewed in this one, depending on what they looked at for days or maybe weeks." "So they didn't have six months. And they were comparing Prevnar with a control. Well, you hope the control would be what? Because there's no other product on the market. That's a seven valent meningococcal vaccine in the U S. So you could, you should have compared it against it. We'll see about, but you see the little cross right there. Yes. Let's go down right here and let's see what the control was." "The control was another unlicensed product. So they had a clinical trial for this, for Prevnar 7 that wasn't six months. It was far shorter and they didn't prepare it against the placebo. Even though there was no 7-valent and meningococcal vaccine that I'm aware of that was on the market license in the US. So there's no standard of care. They should use a placebo. What do they use? Another. Another unlicensed vaccine." "Again, I'm laughing, but it's definitely serious too. And I say it because it really goes back to your point about religion. And it's a long way to answer your question, I know, but yes, there is what is said about these products, what believed about these products." "And then there's this reality, again, all on the FDA website, you can look at it yourself. I'm not trying to pick on these products. That's just the reality about the clinical trials. And we've just talked about pre-licensure safety, right? I mean, there are, we can, by the way, there's even worse examples than this that we can go through, but I'll leave it alone on that." "And then there's the claim about post-licensure safety, how there's this massive body of science that assures it's safe. And I could tell you that, you know, we have 40 people in my law firm that do almost exclusively vaccine work. We have, I think, the largest vaccine practice in the world that doesn't represent pharmaceutical companies." "And you can bring a claim for vaccine injury, okay, in America and in other countries, but you can't sue the manufacturer. In America, you sue the secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services. You sue the federal health authorities that tell you it's safe. There's no right to get, you can't subpoena documents, you can't depose the companies." "This program won't let you do it. But you can bring a claim. And so we get calls all the time. from parents who want to say, hey, my child had this reaction or that reaction to a vaccine, went in totally healthy, started seizing, had a grand mal seizure within 10 minutes, rushed to the emergency room, ended up with all this sequela." "And so when we go in, I don't have a PhD after my name. I don't have an MD. I don't have any fancy medical titles. "This Sunday, I'm taking the plunge," Brand, 48, said in a video he posted to X. "I'm getting baptized." Brand said he had heard baptism explained to him as "an opportunity to die and be reborn; an opportunity to leave the past behind and be reborn in Christ's name like it says in Galatians — that you can live as an enlightened and awakened person." He also referenced what he suggested were non-Christian reflections on the same theme of embracing death for the sake of life, quoting Stoic philosopher and Roman emperor Marcus Aurelius and the Buddha. "All of these things seem so inviting and beautiful," he said. Brand also suggested that increasing numbers are turning back to Christianity as the empty value system of modernity disintegrates and leaves them wanting more. "I know a lot of people are sort of cynical about the increasing interest in Christianity and the return to God, but to me, it's obvious," he said. "As meaning deteriorates in the modern world, as our value systems and institutions crumble, all of us become increasingly aware that there is this eerily familiar awakening and beckoning figure that we've all known all of our lives, within us and around us. And for me, it's very exciting." Brand added that he intends to get baptized in the heavily polluted River Thames, joking that he might be also getting baptized in toxoplasmosis and E. coli. "I may be leaving behind the sins, but I might be picking up some pretty serious viruses," he said. Brand's baptism comes after other videos he has been making in recent months about his spiritual journey to the Christian faith. In December, he told followers he was reading the Bible and The Problem of Pain, a 1940 book by C.S. Lewis that explores the role of suffering in the Christian life. In January, he noted that he was reading Rick Warren's The Purpose-Driven Life, and that he desired a "personal relationship with God" as he found Jesus Christ increasingly important as he grows older, despite once seeing many churches as either too "old-fashioned" or too modernized. "The reason I wear a cross is because Christianity and, in particular, the figure of Christ, are, it seems to me, inevitably becoming more important as I become more familiar with suffering, purpose, self, and not-self," he said at the time. In March, he posted a video explaining that he had been visiting churches of various denominations with the intention of possibly getting baptized, and asked his followers their opinions on the sacrament. During an interview with Tucker Carlson last year, Brand said, "Like many desperate people, I need spirituality. I need God, or I cannot cope in this world. I need to believe in the best in people." Acknowledging he "didn't have enough self-discipline to resist the allure of stardom," he said he "fell face-first into the glitter, and I'm only just pulling myself out now." Brand faces multiple allegations of sexual misconduct going back years, including one report that claims he assaulted a 16-year-old girl after pulling her into an "emotionally and sexually abusive" relationship. Brand has denied the "very serious criminal allegations" and maintained that while he was "very, very promiscuous" in the past, all of his sexual relationships were "always consensual." "I'm not on 'The Hill' because they would not allow me to interview Anthony Fauci," Kim Iversen told Russell Brand during a recent interview about why she left The Hill. Iversen said she doesn't know for certain who was responsible for the decision — whether Fauci's team said he wouldn't come on the show if she did the interview, or if her producers didn't present her name to Fauci's team, for fear he'd back out. All she knows is that the night before the interview was to take place, her producers said she wouldn't be part of it. Iversen told them, "That's unacceptable," because, after all, she'd been covering COVID-19 "at length" for the show. When she joined The Hill, Iversen said she knew she was "joining corporate media" and therefore "part of the establishment to some degree," she told Brand. But she also told her producers, and her audience, that she wouldn't remain on the show if she were "censored, held back or limited." "The minute that was to change was the minute that I would no longer be able to be there," she said. "That would make me a liar to the audience." 'Does Anthony Fauci refuse to answer difficult questions?' Iversen said she was excited to interview Fauci because "he is the person who guided the pandemic that put us in these limitations and mandates." She added: "Our lives have drastically changed since the pandemic in many ways, and Fauci was the guiding force on a lot of that." As director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, U.S. government authorities looked to him to manage the pandemic. Initially an HIV/AIDS researcher — as discussed in Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.'s book, "The Real Anthony Fauci" — Fauci has advised seven U.S. presidents and is now chief medical advisor to President Biden. Fauci on Aug. 2 told Fox News he symbolizes "consistency," "integrity" and "truth." Not everyone agrees. "As the world watched," Kennedy wrote in his book, "Tony Fauci dictated a series of policies that resulted in by far the most deaths, and one of the highest percentage COVID-19 body counts of any nation on the planet." Kennedy added: "Only relentless propaganda and wall-to-wall censorship could conceal his disastrous mismanagement during COVID-19's first year." Brand said he thinks high-paying public officials like Fauci, who wield great amounts of power, should be held up to public scrutiny. Brand emphasized the need for "transparency between powerful people that make decisions and the media that report on the decisions that are being made, so that we — the ordinary people of the world — are able to be part of a conversation regarding how we are governed." "What interests me about this subject is, Does Anthony Fauci refuse to answer difficult questions?" Brand said. Brand wondered whether Fauci was avoiding answering tough questions about "things like natural immunity, recommendation of vaccines for those under 5 [years of age], their clinical data and whether the clinical data underwrites the decision to extend the vaccine program to young people." What would Iversen have asked Fauci, had she been allowed to interview him? • "What is a 'vaccine' to Fauci?" • "How much protection do we get? How long does it last?" • "Why are we not doing comprehensive studies on natural immunity?" • "Why are we not doing studies on comprehensive therapeutics that are out there?" • "Why did you not separate those who are most vulnerable from those who are not, like school children, and why did you instead say, 'no, everybody has to do this [i.e., wear a mask, get the vaccine]?'" Iversen expressed frustration at the "narrative" around COVID-19 and the "lack of ability to ask questions." "They [Fauci and his team] were not interested, it seems," Iversen told Brand, "in finding out any of those questions and getting answers for us. Instead, it was just: 'No, take this,' make Big Pharma a bunch of money and silence to any of us who actually questioned it." Iversen also would like to have asked Fauci if he, himself, could generate any critical questions to ask. "Does he have any at all?" she asked. Joe Rogan, Ivermectin and the 'Politicization of Information' By Children's Health Defense Team https://childrenshealthdefense.org/defender/joe-rogan-ivermectin-russell-brand-rolling-stone/ When comedian Joe Rogan contracted COVID, the media seemed to take delight in his illness and wanted him to suffer as a result of it, Russell Brand said in a new video. The media's reporting on the treatments Rogan used -- which included ivermectin, vitamin C and monoclonal antibodies -- was "deeply cynical," said Brand. Brand said he has no opinion on how COVID should be treated and isn't qualified to offer advice -- but he does have an opinion on how the media reports on certain issues and what biases are at play. Brand questioned why information on ivermectin, an antiparasitic drug given to 4 billion people worldwide, is so politicized. He highlighted a clip from "The Joe Rogan Podcast" where Rogan addresses the media storm that ensued after he went public about using ivermectin. In his podcast, Rogan said: "They keep saying I took a horse dewormer. I literally got it from a doctor. It's an American company. They won the Nobel Prize in 2015 for use in human beings, and CNN is saying I'm taking horse dewormer. They must know that's a lie." Rogan said he's considering suing CNN for accusing him of putting out misinformation about ivermectin. Politicizing medical treatments To unpack the mainstream media's condemnation of Rogan's decision to take ivermectin, Brand points to an article by Matt Taibbi -- "Ivermectin: Can a Drug Be 'Right-Wing'?" The article notes the varying opinions on using ivermectin to treat COVID. Taibbi writes: "As is noted in nearly every mainstream story about the subject, the WHO has advised against its use pending further study, there have been randomized studies showing it to be ineffective in speeding recovery, and the drug's original manufacturer, Merck, has said there's no 'meaningful evidence' of efficacy for COVID-19 patients. "However, it's also patently untrue, as is frequently asserted, that there's no evidence that the drug might be effective. "This past week, for instance, Oxford University announced it was launching a large-scale clinical trial. The study has already recruited more than 5,000 volunteers, and its announcement says what little is known to be true: that 'small pilot studies show that early administration with ivermectin can reduce viral load and the duration of symptoms in some patients with mild COVID-19,' that it's 'a well-known medicine with a good safety profile,' and 'because of the early promising results in some studies, it is already being widely used to treat COVID-19 in several countries. "The Oxford text also says 'there is little evidence from large-scale randomized controlled trials to demonstrate that it can speed up recovery from the illness or reduce hospital admission.' But to a person who might have a family member suffering from the disease, just the information about 'early promising results' would probably be enough to inspire demands for a prescription, which might be the problem, of course. Unless someone was looking for that information, they likely wouldn't find it, as mainstream news even of the Oxford study has been effectively limited to a pair of Bloomberg and Forbes stories." Brand said what he found interesting about the article is the discussion about the "politicization of information." Mainstream media has "very little objectivity," Brand said, and uses everything as an "opportunity to score points for what's regarded as the 'left' and 'right.'" Rolling Stone article demonizing ivermectin is debunked On Sept. 5, Rolling Stone published a now-debunked report falsely claiming the use of ivermectin to treat COVID had emergency rooms in Oklahoma "so backed up that gunshot victims were having hard times getting" access to medical care. Rolling Stone didn't retract the piece, but instead issued a correction saying that a hospital denied Oklahoma doctor Jason McElyea's claim that ivermectin overdoses were causing delays in treating gunshot victims. The story also sparked controversy because of the image Rolling Stone used in the article, which, on social media, looked as if the people waiting in line were waiting for treatment at an emergency room in Oklahoma. Brand: 'You should be entitled to make your own decision' on vaccines When it comes to COVID vaccines, Brand is a firm believer in personal choice. Brand said: "If you want to be vaccinated, you should become vaccinated if you're comfortable with the information you've been given around that subject. If you're a person who doesn't want to be vaccinated, you should be entitled to make your decision." And when people say "not being vaccinated affects" others, Brand said that same attitude of considering how your personal actions affect others should be applied to a whole host of issues, including distribution of wealth, public speech and education. Brand said: "It's interesting that that's being applied strictly in one area of public and medical life and not others. If you don't understand why people are cynical of pharmaceutical companies and the government, then you haven't been paying attention for the last 20 years." ..............
