Originally recorded on 10/11/2021 Here we are! Back at it again! And we are not going anywhere for a long, long time! Initially release in Japan on November 21, 1991; North America on April 13, 1992, and Europe on September 24, 1992. We are finishing a Link to the Past, the third game released for the Legend of Zelda series! It has been about 12 years since I lasted played it. A lot happened since then. College, relationships, careers... life. Life happened. I remember liking this. Quite a bit actually. So let's see how it handles! Here, we play the opening segment up until the first dungeon in the game.

Yeah, some games let you go wild at the start but it does slowly reveal its secrets to you. I feel like that happens here as we go back and forth from the Light World and Dark World and exploring the parts that were inaccessible to us before.

Originally streamed on 06/23/2022 Really starting to feel that difficulty spike! You have to be perfect navigating these dungeons now. There is no room for error. The wrong move could cost you at least a minute of back tracking and that's no good. In this hour, we get through Gargoyle's Domain and get ourselves ready for the Ice Palace.

Originally streamed on 06/23/2022 We may have a front runner for worst dungeon design! That's why this episode is too long! Come to think of it. I didn't care much for the Great Palace in Zelda II either. For the sake of confusion, I'll refer to all of them as just dungeons from now on. The Great Palace was just too long and too much of a gaunlet to get through just to get rocked by Thunderbird and Dark Link at the end. The problem here, was I didn't care for just how confusing this was. And you need to flawless execute a plan going through this dungeon, one slipup and BAM! You have to waste 5 minutes backtracking.

And what felt like the first time in forever, I really needed money in a Zelda game. But we set ourselves up for success in the next hour.

After the disastorious outing in the last episode, We get a great flow going and we rush up Ganon's Tower and toward the Blue Man Pig himself. At the end of this episode, as of the streaming, I talk about a lot of the goals and hopes I have of not only my socials, but plans for myself as well. Hopefully by this time this episode gets released, I would have had a good dent done in my audiobook, which was the ultimate goal of Take Your Shot. I like streaming and posting them for posterity and slowly scheduling them one week at a time. I could forseeably do this for years. Having content posted every week up until December and it being July is a great feeling. There's a lot more work to be done, and I can't wait for that challenge. Everything is going to come full circle.
