I just received a letter from a 401k company that I do business with and they mentioned that they recently sent out a letter on the Nov. 17th that there are going to be some changes made and there will be a "blackout period after December 26th" because of this... No time frame to the "blackout period" was given i.e. 72 hours etc.. Just that there would be a "blackout", which I find to be unusual terminology. Normally they would say something like, Your account will be inaccessible or please allow 24-48 hours before attempting to access your account. Has anyone else received such notification?
