Tbilisi Walks: Holy Trinity Cathedral of Tbilisi

In this video, we'll take a stroll through the territory of the Holy Trinity Cathedral of Tbilisi, the second cathedral of the Georgian Orthodox Church after Svetitskhoveli, located in Avlabari on the hill of Saint Elijah. During our walk, we'll be able to fully appreciate the impressive size of the cathedral, ranking as the third tallest Orthodox church in the world.

The construction of the cathedral, funded by citizens donations, began in 1995, and exactly 9 years after the groundbreaking on November 23, 2004, on the day of St. George, the cathedral was consecrated.
