This is literally the only argument that Trump makes against electric vehicles, and he knows he's not being completely honest and truthful in his statement. EVs more or less can travel the same distance as a tank full of gasoline now. The biggest issue now is charge time on long distance trips, however I've charged 100 miles in 10 minutes before that was over 5 years ago. Most people do not have to use supercharging stations at any point during their day because almost NOBODY goes on long distance trips regularly. And btw, the Tesla Model Y is now the #1 selling car GLOBALLY in 2023. This is why I say that Trump knows he's not being completely honest when he bashes on electric vehicles because more people are purchasing them than ever before.
