Abdicating in Rio

I think that after the previous videos about the history of Rio and Brazil, in which I have been saying over and over that a series of bad events led to the downfall of D.Pedro I and ultimately to a very final decision on his part, you pretty much saw this one coming.
The very final decision was, as the title suggests, to abdicate as emperor of Brazil in favour of his son, future emperor, D.Pedro II. And on this video I'll tell you precisely how all of this happened.
SPOILERALERT: Father and son didn't even get to properly say goodbye to each other and would never see each other again.
