Is north light an unnecessary relic of past times?
QUESTIONS: I visit art schools, and often I find myself in a large north light studio, but it is being used for activities other than drawing and painting (perhaps a lecture room). Or often the windows are covered, or even walled over. It makes me think of stories you mention in previous lectures about the various ways in which art schools disposed of their cast collections. Perhaps I am just nostalgic for a vanished past, but if you have time sometime could you talk about this subject in general? JACK
