Uganda’s fight against the use of single-use plastics especially polythene bags has receded according to environmentalists.
With ravaging effects of climate change some linked to the persistent use and later poor disposal of single-use plastics, a section of environmentalists have renewed their quest for strict regulation on importation, production, sale and use of polythene bags among other plastics and at worst total ban on such products.
