A family of Amur leopards was seen in Russia's Primorye Region. A car driver managed to capture a video of the magnificent cats running across the road and settling down comfortably in a forest clearing as they watched the vehicle go by.

According to the Land of the Leopard National Park, a mother and her two cubs had gone for a walk, as they sometimes do in the area. Officials warned that locals should refrain from attracting the animals’ attention or trying to scare them away. The number of the critically endangered Amur leopards totalled about 35 individuals in the early 2000s. Now, as a result of state preservation programs, the population of the rare animals has increased to around 120.
