Time to Make the Turkey

Mountaindo told me to put the Turkey on the grill at 2:30 AM, she specifically stated that the TURKEY had to be properly cooked at 300 degrees. Hopefully I don't screw this up. Wish me luck.

For the perfectly cooked Turkey here is our recipe
15 to 17 lb. pre-brined bird.

Cook uncovered, breast up.

Outside temperature for this meal was 38 degrees ( so adjust as needed )

Start out at 300 Degrees for 1 hour, then 250 Degrees for 2 hours, next 225 degrees for 2.5 hours or until internal temp of the meat reaches 172 degrees and the juice is clear. Turn off grill and let rest for 30 minutes. Bring in and cover with foil to prevent from drying out.

We recommend using a wood pellet grill. I have never had a more tasty bird in my life. IT was perfect.
