It was a good night for Houston Astros player Carlos Correa, a famous Puerto Rican baseball star. Correa made his MLB debut in 2015, and won the American League Rookie of the Year Award.

After his team emerged victorious in the Los Angeles Dodgers in Game 7 of the World Series, the famous shortstop "bent the knee" and proposed to his beautiful girlfriend Daniella Rodriguez. He popped the question on live TV, right after he had a brief interview about his expectations of the game. He said that the game was one of his biggest accomplishments in life, and that now he's ready to have one more.

Immediately after, he reached in his pocket and fished out the ring box, and went over to his girlfriend, who is a former Miss Texas USA and Miss Texas Teen USA, who was obviously caught in disbelief. She shyly covered her face and ran to her boyfriend to give him the first kiss as his fiancé. Obviously, her answer was yes.

Since the photos of the engagement were published late Wednesday night, people couldn't help but notice the size of the diamond engagement ring. According to experts, it's a custom pear-shaped diamond ring with a diamond halo and a split shank, estimated in the range of 100-400 thousand dollars. Needless to say, that's well above the national average price for an engagement ring.
