IT'S NOT ONLY CARNAVAL: The History of the Brazilian June Party

Every year tourists who decide to come to Rio (or even to Brazil in general) in the month of June (or even July and August in some cases), and are surprised to find that yes, there are parties at this time of year but they are not Carnaval parties and there isn't any sign of samba or anyting like it being played and danced at those parties. Instead, people are dancing quadrill and dressed as farmers.
I am of course talking about THE BRAZILIAN JUNE PARTY, which I will tell you all about in this very video!
