Don’t let the annoying things overshadow the positive
Those things that we want to correct for, but we really can’t because they aren’t clear, can be very annoying. So much so to the point that it can overshadow all the amazing work and progress we’ve made with our dog. If you’re struggling with this mindset you’ve got to ask yourself, are those annoying behaviors like pacing, sniffing, or spinning dangerous to our dog or anyone else? Are they worth it clouding all of the positive changes you’ve made? Give yourself and your dog the credit you both deserve by focusing on the positive, and understand that there are just some things that our dogs do which we cannot change, and that’s okay!
