In Search of Yamashita's Gold - Medal of Honor: Rising Sun

Joe Griffin, Major Bromley, and Tanaka are sent on a mission to investigate Japanese gold smelting operations in Burmese temples. A Flying Tigers pilot by the name of Raj is sent to assist them with reconnaissance. When he is shot down over one of the temples, the group launches a rescue mission.

Before the US officially entered WWII, a small force of volunteer pilots fought for the Chinese against the advancing Japanese invaders. This elite group became known as the Flying Tigers. Eventually, as the US entered the war, the Flying Tigers were mostly absorbed into the 14th Air Force.
