ہزاروں سال نرگس اپنی بے نوری پہ روتی ہے
بڑی مشکل سے ہوتا ہے چمن میں دیدہ ور پید ا

معانی: ہزاروں سال: ایک طویل مدت تک ۔ بے نوری: آنکھوں کا روشن نہ ہونا ۔ نرگس: وہ پھول جس کی شکل کی بنا پر اسے آنکھ سے تشبیہ دی جاتی ہے ۔ دیدہ ور: آنکھوں والا، صاحب نظر ۔

مطلب: نرگس ہزاروں سال روتی رہتی ہے کہ اس کی آنکھیں بے نور ہیں، باغ میں بصیرت والا بڑی مشکل سے پیدا ہوتا ہے۔
